Calcutta International Cult Films Festival is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Organization and an IMDb Award Qualifying International Film Festival. It is an annual major award screening event that takes place in Kolkata and features cult films from around the world. The CICFF was started in 2016. [1] [2] [3]

At least one film from each category receives an award each month out of the more than 50 that are formally selected from the various categories. The most notable films are frequently presented in Calcutta and given a complimentary, thorough academic evaluation that is published in a number of international film journals. The Final Winners get the Golden Fox Awards and are screened in front of a live audience in the theatre in Kolkata after the CICFF community selects the Best of the Best. [4]

The CICFF winners are put forward for the GOLDEN FOX AWARDS. The most recent Golden Fox Awards were held in Kolkata's Rotary Sadan in January 2022. [4] [5] [6]

Mirosław Kępiński, known by his stage name Miro Kepinski, is a Polish film composer, music producer, and performer. Graduating from a Classical Music school in Mlawa, Poland as Musician Instrumentalist, he then expanded his musical knowledge by enrolling at the Jazz faculty of the Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, graduating with the title ‘Bachelor of Art’. His music mixes minimalism with a ‘rawness’ of the north and a Slavic melancholy blended with the classic sounds.

The story of the film is based on true incidents of human trafficking. The film won Outstanding Achievement Award in Culcutta International Cult Film Festival (2019). It has won Best Editing and Best Content awards in Japan Film Festival. It has won Best Feature Film in Hollywood Blood Horror Festival, Los Angeles in 2019 and Best Producer, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Costume, Best Makeup & Hairstyling, Best Trailer and Best Poster Awards in 2020. The 28th Kolkata International Film Festival was held from 15th to 22nd December 2022 at Netaji Indoor Stadium, in Kolkata, India. The festival opened with 1973 film Abhimaan, by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. 183 films including 130 feature films and 52 short and documentary films from 42 countries were screened during 7 days of the festival. The opening ceremony was attended by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Mahesh Bhatt and cricketer Sourav Ganguly.

Cult Critic Movie Awards is an IMDb Award listing live screening award event that takes place in Kolkata and features art-house cult films from across the world. The Cult Critic Films Magazine started this award event in 2017 in Kolkata.

The Tagore International Film Festival is an annual international film festival held in Santiniketan, India, that showcases features and shorts by filmmakers from around the world to an audience of film lovers, professionals, journalists and buyers. It was established in 2017 and is named for Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It is an IMDb award-qualifying film festival.
