Calvary Lutheran High School is a non-profit private school in Jefferson City, Missouri, United States, associated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Calvary opened August 2005 after a study suggested that a Lutheran high school with an enrollment of 400 was a feasible goal. [5]

Concordia University, St. Paul is a private university in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It was founded in 1893 and enrolls nearly 5,600 students. Concordia University was a private Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) university in Portland, Oregon that closed in Spring 2020. One remaining program, the accelerated Bachelor Degree, continues to operate under another Concordia University System school. Opened in 1905 as a University-preparatory school, the institution added college classes in 1950 and the high school formally split from the college in 1977. The school of approximately 5,400 undergraduate and graduate students was affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and the Concordia University System. Located in Northeast Portland, the school had branch campuses across Oregon and operated the Concordia University School of Law in Boise, Idaho. The university had four colleges and eighteen majors. George "Speed" Palfreyman Jr. was an American football and basketball coach. He was the second head football coach at Fifth District Normal School—now known as Northwest Missouri State University—in Maryville, Missouri, serving for two seasons, from 1916 to 1917, and compiling a record of 2–11.
