In 2010, she co-founded Coloft, Los Angeles' first coworking space designed specifically for technology startups and entrepreneurs.[7]

She is also certified in Advanced Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. She completed her Doctorate in Spiritual Studies.[11]

Kashani is a speaker with the US State Department in a program to prevent terrorism called IIP.[17] She has spoken globally on topics including entrepreneurism, technology, and women's issues.[13]
She is also a speaker with Women of MENA in Tech Conference.[18] In the summer, she participated in a panel hosted by PWIT, marking the first time she addressed a predominantly Persian female audience.[19]
Kashani was a Special Advisor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to the US Ambassador to Kuwait and the US Embassy in Kuwait. She was on the Innovation Council for SoCal FWD.us, and Advisor for the Bixel Exchange.[10][20] She is a contributing writer for Forbes.[21]
