The foreign relations of Canada are Canada's relations with other governments and nations. Canada is recognized as a middle power for its role in international affairs with a tendency to pursue multilateral solutions. Canada's foreign policy based on international peacekeeping and security is carried out through coalitions and international organizations, and through the work of numerous federal institutions. Canada's peacekeeping role during the 20th century has played a major role in its global image. The strategy of the Canadian government's foreign aid policy reflects an emphasis to meet the Millennium Development Goals, while also providing assistance in response to foreign humanitarian crises.
The relations between Canada and Mexico have evolved over time. Historic ties between the two nations were dormant, but since the 1990s relations between Canada and Mexico have positively developed, as both countries brokered the NAFTA. They were on different sides of the Cold War Spectrum.
Canadian-Romanian relations are the bilateral relations between the governments of Canada and Romania. Canada has an embassy in Bucharest. Romania has an embassy in Ottawa and three consulates-general. Romania has also three honorary consulate general in Moncton, Québec and Calgary.

Germany–Slovenia relations are the foreign relations between Germany and Slovenia. Germany–Slovenia state relations are good and harmonious. Both countries established diplomatic relations on 15 January 1992. Germany has an embassy in Ljubljana. Slovenia has an embassy in Berlin and a general consulate in Munich. Both countries are full members of NATO and the European Union. There are more than 50,000 Slovenes living in Germany and more than 50,000 Germans living in Slovenia. During the first years of Slovenian independence, Germany was a strong advocate for the self-determination of Slovenes, and instituted a comprehensive consulting and support program for the promotion of democratization and market reform process in Slovenia. It also supported Slovenian accession to the EU and NATO.
Russia–Slovenia relations are foreign relations between Russia and Slovenia. Both countries established diplomatic relations on May 25, 1992. Russia has an embassy in Ljubljana. Slovenia has an embassy in Moscow and two honorary consulates. Until 2022, Russia had five honorary consuls in Slovenia, but Slovenia withdrew its consent to the appointments due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Both countries are full members of the Council of Europe and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
Canada-Swiss relations are foreign relations between Canada and Switzerland. Both countries are members of the Francophonie and the United Nations.
Canada–Hungary relations are the bilateral relations between Canada and Hungary, the importance of which centres on the history of Hungarian migration to Canada. Approximately 300,000 Canadians have Hungarian ancestry. Both nations are members of NATO, the OECD and the United Nations.
Canadian-Serbian relations are foreign relations between Canada and Serbia. Both countries established diplomatic relations in 1922 with the opening of a Consulate-General in Montreal. Canada has an embassy in Belgrade. Serbia has an embassy in Ottawa and a general consulate in Toronto and 2 honorary consulates. There are around 150,000 people of Serbian descent living in Canada.
Canada–Czech Republic relations are foreign relations between Canada and the Czech Republic. Canada has an embassy in Prague. The Czech Republic has an embassy in Ottawa, consulate general in Toronto and honorary consulate in Calgary.
Canada–Mongolia relations are foreign relations between Canada and Mongolia. Both countries established diplomatic relations on November 30, 1973. Canada has been represented in Mongolia through an embassy since 2008. Mongolia has an embassy in Ottawa, and in 2002 opened an Honorary Consulate in Toronto. Though Canada and Mongolia established diplomatic ties in 1973, ad hoc linkages and minor activities occurred between the two countries mainly through the Canada-Mongolia Society, which disbanded in 1980. When Mongolia formed a democratic government in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Canada began to support Mongolia with donor activities through the International Development Research Centre, Canadian International Development Agency and several non-governmental organizations.
Mexico and Slovenia are both members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the United Nations.
The Embassy of Canada to Romania in Bucharest is the diplomatic mission of Canada to Romania. The embassy provides consular services to Canadian citizens residing or travelling in Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova.

Slovenia–Spain relations are the bilateral relations between Slovenia and Spain. Slovenia has an embassy in Madrid and three consulates in Barcelona, San Sebastián and Seville. Spain has an embassy in Ljubljana. The Spanish representation in Slovenia is exercised through the Embassy, which has the support of two Aggregators: Defense and Interior; two departments: Tourism and Economy and Commerce, all of them with residence in surrounding countries, although the Economic and Commercial Office has an Antenna in Ljubljana. There is a Cervantes Classroom under the Instituto Cervantes of Vienna. The relations of these two countries are mainly defined by their membership in both the NATO and the European Union.
