Canice Brennan (born 20 April 1972) is a former Kilkenny hurler who played with Conahy Shamrocks and the Kilkenny intercounty team. He was part of the Kilkenny team that won the All-Ireland in 2000, having played in previous finals and achieving success at minor and under-21 level.

He is a young brother of former hurler Kieran Brennan and former hurler and manager Nickey Brennan, who was also president of the GAA.

The 2000 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final was the culmination of the 2000 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. It was played on 10 September 2000 between Kilkenny and Offaly. Kilkenny was appearing in their third All-Ireland final in-a-row after losing to Offaly in 1998 and to Cork in 1999. They aimed to win their first championship since 1993. In their first championship game since winning the championship in 1998, Offaly lined up. The teams' most recent championship encounter took place in the Leinster final earlier this year, where Kilkenny defeated Offaly.

Canice Hickey is an Irish former hurler. At club level he played with Dunnamaggin and was also a member of the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lined out as a full-back. Hickey's elder brothers Tom and Noel, also lined out at club and inter-county levels.

Jody Brennan is an Irish sportsperson. He is a hurler from upperchurch and played for Tipperary.
