Matija Ljubek was a Croatian sprint canoeist who competed in the 1970s and 1980s and later became a sports official.
Gert Fridolf Fredriksson was a Swedish sprint canoeist. Competing in four Summer Olympics, he won eight medals including six golds, one silver, and one bronze. At the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Fredriksson was head coach of the Swedish team.
Bohumil Kudrna was a Czechoslovak flatwater and slalom canoeist who competed in the late 1940s and the early 1950s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won two medals with Jan Brzák-Felix in the C-2 1000 m event with a gold in 1948 and a silver in 1952.

Tamás Buday is a Canadian sprint canoe coach and retired Hungarian sprint canoer. He competed in doubles at the 1976 and 1980 Olympics and won two bronze medals in 1976. He also won thirteen medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with four gold, five silvers, and four bronzes.
