Astro Launch is one of many 7-inch EPs Man or Astro-man? released in 1994. It was released on Estrus Records on clear orange vinyl and black vinyl. As the black vinyl copies are pressed onto translucent black vinyl, some discographies list the vinyl color as "rootbeer" or "clear rootbeer". There are also some copies pressed on opaque gray vinyl, and at least one copy on dark, ruby-red vinyl. "Transmission from Venus '94" is a re-recording of a song Man or Astro-man? recorded in 1993 and released on a Roger Corman tribute compilation. The back cover states that a secret vocal version of "Philip K. Dick" on cassette can be obtained from Man or Astro-man? for $1. The cover art was designed by Art Chantry.

The Early Years is a two-part retrospective album series of Tom Waits songs, consisting of recordings made before Waits's debut album, Closing Time. Volume one was released in 1991 and volume two was released in 1993 on Bizarre/Straight. The recordings were made between July and December 1971. Some of the songs on the album appear on the early albums Waits recorded for Asylum Records. In 2010, both volumes of The Early Years were released on vinyl by Manifesto Records.

The Best of Lynn Anderson: Memories and Desires is a studio album by American country artist Lynn Anderson. It was released in 1982 via Era Records.Internationally, the album was released on the K-tel distribution company. Although labeled as "The Best of," the album was actually a studio release but it contained re-recordings of songs Anderson first cut in years prior for other labels. Many of the songs on the project were re-recordings of songs she has first cut for other labels. Previously unrecorded tracks were also included on the project.
"Stop the World " is a song written and originally performed by Carl Belew. It was released as a single first by Belew in January 1958. It was later followed by competing versions by Patsy Cline and Johnnie & Jack. The latter duo's version became the first successful version of the song to be a hit. It was later covered a decade later by Waylon Jennings and then again by Susan Raye in 1974.
