Carina Rosenvinge Christiansen (born 17 March 1991) is a Danish recurve archer who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Christiansen was born on 17 March 1991 in Aalborg. She was introduced to archery at the age of eleven in 2002, [2] joining the Aarhus Archer's Guild (Aarhus Bueskyttelaug), the club with which she has remained as of 2015. [3] In 2012 she listed tennis player Caroline Wozniacki as her sporting idol. [2]
Christiansen made her Olympic debut at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, [2] joining teammates Maja Jager and Louise Laursen for Denmark's first appearance in the women's team event, [4] as well as competing in the women's individual event. The preliminary ranking round, which determined the seedings for the subsequent elimination rounds, saw Christiansen rank seventh for the individual competition with 663 points from a maximum of 720, while Christiansen, Jager, and Laursen's combined score for the team event set a new Danish national record of 1,946 points to finish with the eighth seed. [5] The trio defeated India in the first knock-out round to advance to the quarter-finals, where they were defeated by South Korea. [6]
In the women's individual event Christiansen progressed the furthest of her teammates, reaching to the last sixteen before being eliminated by Mexico's Mariana Avitia. [7]

The National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark sent the nation's second largest delegation to the Games after the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. A total of 113 athletes, 63 men and 50 women, competed in 17 sports, although two additional athletes played as team reserves. Handball was the only team-based sport in which Denmark was represented in at these Olympic games.

The women's team recurve competition at the 2011 World Archery Championships took place on 4–10 July 2011 in Torino, Italy. 41 teams of three archers competed in the qualification round on 4 July; the top 16 teams qualified for the knockout tournament on 6 July, with the semi-finals and finals on 10 July. The tournament doubled as the principal qualification tournament for the 2012 Olympics.

The women's individual recurve competition at the 2019 European Games was held from 21 to 26 June 2019 at the Olympic Sports Complex in Minsk, Belarus. It was the second time the event was held as part of the European Games archery programme. A total of 48 archers from 32 different nations entered the competition, with a maximum of three entries per country. The event offered one qualifying spot for the women's individual event at the 2020 Summer Olympics for any archer reaching the semi-finals from a nation that had not already qualified. The defending champion, Karina Winter of Germany, did not take part following her retirement from the sport.
