WWE Judgment Day was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), a professional wrestling promotion based in Connecticut. It was first held as the 25th In Your House PPV in October 1998. The event was then brought back as its own PPV in May 2000, replacing Over the Edge, and subsequently became the annual May PPV until 2009. The 2002 event was the company's first PPV held under the WWE name, following a renaming of the company from World Wrestling Federation (WWF) to WWE earlier that same month. Judgment Day was discontinued after its 2009 event and was replaced by Over the Limit in 2010.

Deuce 'n Domino is an American professional wrestling tag team consisting of Deuce Shade and Dice Domino, who were managed for the majority of their run by Cherry and briefly by Maryse. The 2009 Judgment Day was the 11th and final Judgment Day professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It was held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brand divisions. The event took place on May 17, 2009, at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. Judgment Day was replaced by Over the Limit in 2010.
The Hart Dynasty was a Canadian professional wrestling stable who appeared in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The unit consisted of the tag team of Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith, and Natalya as a manager. The group was named due to the connection of all three wrestlers to the Hart wrestling family; David Hart Smith is the son of Davey Boy Smith, Natalya is the daughter of Jim Neidhart, and Tyson Kidd trained under Bret Hart and at Stu Hart's Dungeon and would later marry Natalya. They are recognized as the final team to hold WWE's original World Tag Team Championship.
