Carla Bradstock (born 11 August 1985) was a Canadian volleyball player and coach.
She was part of the Canada women's national volleyball team in several tournaments over her years with Canada, including the 2008 FISU Games, and the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan. [1] In 2011, Carla played in the PanAm Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. [2] She was also training on the Olympic Qualification team, but Canada did not qualify for the Games in 2012. [3] Bradstock also played professional volleyball in Sollentuna, Sweden; Linz, Austria; and Baku, Azerbaijan. Previous to playing professionally, she was the MVP at the 2008 Canadian university national championship, with a gold medal finish in her final year for the University of British Columbia. [4] [5]
After retiring from volleyball, Bradstock went on to be a delegate for Miss Universe Canada in 2012. [6]
Foluke Atinuke Gunderson is an indoor volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for Japanese club Hisamitsu Springs. Born in Canada, she represents the United States internationally. Gunderson won gold with the national team at the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix, 2014 World Championship, the Rimini Volleyball Nations League, and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, silver at the 2012 London Summer Olympics, and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Her 2020 Olympics win allowed her to complete the trifecta of winning an Olympic bronze, silver, and gold medal.
Jaqueline Maria Pereira de Carvalho Endres is a Brazilian volleyball player, a member of the Brazilian team that won the Olympic Games at Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
Karina Ocasio Clemente is a volleyball player from Puerto Rico, who competed for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in eighth and last place, having received a wild card for the event after Peru and Kenya withdrew. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, he and Binstock earned silver medals.
