Carlos Cardet (born 6 March 1951) is a Cuban former cyclist. He competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the 1980 Summer Olympics. [1] In 1978, he won stage five to Karlovy Vary in the Peace Race, an important amateur race of the era. [2]
Mountain bike racing is the competitive cycle sport discipline of mountain biking held on off-road terrain. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) recognised the discipline relatively late in 1990, when it sanctioned the world championships in Durango, Colorado. The first UCI Mountain Bike World Cup series took place in 1988. Its nine-race circuit covered two continents—Europe and North America—and was sponsored by Grundig. Cross-country racing was the only World Cup sport at this time. In 1993, a six-event downhill World Cup was introduced. In 1996, cross-country mountain biking events were added to the Olympic Games. In 2006, cross-country mountain biking events became part of the World Deaf Cycling Championships for the first time in San Francisco, USA.
Danilo Hondo is a German former professional road bicycle racer. He won the German National Road Race in 2002. He competed in the men's team pursuit at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Bernt Harry Johansson is a Swedish former road bicycle racer, who was a professional rider from 1977 to 1981. His sporting career began with Mariestadcyklisten. A competitor at the 1972 Summer Olympics, he represented his native country once again at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where he won the men's individual road race. For that performance Johansson was awarded the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal the same year, together with track and field athlete Anders Gärderud, who claimed gold in the men's 3000 m steeplechase in Montreal.
Vernon ("Vern") John Hanaray is a former road cyclist from New Zealand, who represented his native country in the men's individual road race at the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics. He also competed at the 1974 and 1978 Commonwealth Games. Hanaray won the 1974 edition of the Archer Grand Prix cycle race.

Kevin "Clyde" Sefton is a former road racing cyclist from Australia, who was a professional rider from 1972 to 1983. He represented his native country at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, where he won the silver medal in the men's individual road race, behind the Netherlands' Hennie Kuiper. He also competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
Gary Sutton is a cycling coach and a former professional racing cyclist. In 1980, Sutton became the amateur World Champion in the Points Race.
Hayden Roulston is a former New Zealand professional racing cyclist. He won the silver medal in the men's 4000 m individual pursuit and a bronze medal in the men's 4000 m team pursuit at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He won the New Zealand road cycling championships on four occasions, the Tour of Southland on three occasions and came tenth in the 2010 edition of Paris - Roubaix.
Roger Kluge is a German professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Rad-Net Oßwald. Kluge left NetApp–Endura at the end of the 2013 season, and joined IAM Cycling for the 2014 season. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he won the silver medal in the men's points race.
Gilbert Glaus is a retired Swiss professional road bicycle racer. In 1978, Glaus became amateur world champion, and he became a professional cyclist in 1982. In 1983, Glaus won a stage in the 1983 Tour de France, but in the 1984 Tour de France he was the Lanterne rouge. He was the Swiss National Road Race champion in 1982. He also competed in the individual road race and team time trial events at the 1980 Summer Olympics.
José Adrián Bonilla Bonilla is a Costa Rican former professional road bicycle racer. He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Olympics. He debuted professionally in 2004 with the team Comunidad Valenciana.
Milan Kadlec is a Czech former racing cyclist, who competed both on the road and the track. In 2010, he won the bronze medal in the UCI Track Cycling World Championships points race.
Jan Bárta is a Czech professional road cyclist, who rides for UCI Continental team Elkov–Kasper.

Péter Kusztor is a Hungarian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Team Novo Nordisk. He competed at the road race at the 2008 Summer Olympics finishing 65th. Kusztor won the 2010 and 2012 national road cycling championships.
Jan Jankiewicz is a retired Polish cyclist. In 1979 he won two silver medals in the road race at the World Cycling Championships, individually and with the Polish team. He competed at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympics in four events in total. In 1976, he finished in tenth and fifth place in the 4000 m pursuit, individually and with the Polish team, respectively. In 1980, he was fourth in the road race, but failed to reach the finish in the 100 km time trial.
Andreas Schillinger is a German former cyclist, who rode professionally between 2006 and 2021 for Continental Team Milram, Team Nutrixxion–Sparkasse and Bora–Hansgrohe.
Roberto Menéndez is a Cuban former cyclist. He competed at the 1968, 1972 and the 1976 Summer Olympics as well as the 1971 and 1975 Pan American Games.
Gregorio Aldo Arencibia is a Cuban former cyclist. He competed at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympics as well as the 1971 and 1975 Pan American Games.
Neil Martin is a British former cyclist. He competed at the 1980 Summer Olympics and the 1984 Summer Olympics. He now works as a team manager for under-23 cyclists within Cycling Ireland's High Performance Unit.
