Caroline Pearce (born 1 September 1981 in Cambridge, England) is an English athlete, sports host, model, published author, and is the presenter for BT Sport's UFC: Beyond The Octagon and reporter for Fox Sports and UFC Fight Pass. She played the character Ice in Sky One's version of Gladiators . She is currently signed to MVE Management. [1]
Pearce competed for England in the World Pentathlon Championships at the age of 15. [2] She had competed as a professional heptathlete in the 2004 European Cup Heptathlon Finals. Pearce has also represented Great Britain as a bobsledder in the 2005 World Bobsleigh Championships. [3]
In 2008, Pearce was chosen to compete as a gladiator in Sky One's relaunch of the TV series Gladiators under the gladiator name "Ice", [4] but she left the show after the first season.
Pearce has earned a first class honours degree in Sports Science and a master's degree in Physiology and Nutrition from Loughborough University. She has modelled in advertisements for Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Ron Hill and Fitness-Mad and shot with photographer Rankin. She is a published author of 'Better Body Workouts for Women' with publishers Human Kinetics and a master trainer and spokesperson for Power Plate training equipment.

A luge is a small one- or two-person sled on which one sleds supine (face-up) and feet-first. A luger begins seated, propelling themselves initially from handles on either side of the start ramp, then steers by using the calf muscles to flex the sled's runners or by exerting opposite shoulder pressure to the pod. Racing sleds weigh 21–25 kg (46–55 lb) for singles and 25–30 kg (55–66 lb) for doubles. Luge is also the name of an Olympic sport that employs that sled and technique.

American Gladiators is an American competition television program that aired weekly in syndication from September 1989 to May 1996. The series matched a cast of amateur athletes against each other, as well as against the show's own "gladiators", in contests of strength and agility. Following the success of American Gladiators, other countries began to produce their own versions of the show.

Daniel Mark Hardy is an English former mixed martial artist who fought in the welterweight division. During his professional MMA career, which began in 2004, Hardy fought in multiple promotions, such as Cage Force and Cage Warriors, before signing a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2008. Montell Marcelle "Monty" Douglas is a British multi-sports Olympian. Originally a sprinter and former British record holder for the 100 metres at 11.05 seconds, she competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Gladiators is a British television series which aired on Sky One from 11 May 2008 to 25 October 2009. It was a revival of the earlier series of the same name and based on the second American version of the show. The US, UK and Australian versions of the show were all revived in 2008.

Cynthia Appiah is a Canadian bobsledder who has been competing in the sport since 2014. Appiah made her World Cup debut in 2016. In 2018, she shifted to the pilot position and later made her World Cup debut as a bobsleigh pilot in the 2019/2020 season. At the IBSF World Championships 2021 in Altenberg, Germany, Appiah placed fifth and ninth in monobob and two-woman bobsleigh, respectively.
