Casey Burgener (born August 15, 1982) is a weightlifter for the United States. His coaches are Mike Burgener and Paul Fleschler. He was born to Leslie Burgener, who lives in the San Diego area.
Burgener initially was to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics, but the US unexpectedly lost one of three country slots when lifters from other countries were disqualified, which changed the results of a qualification event. [1] [2]
On April 13, 2012 Burgener was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy. After serving for five years as a submariner, he is now a lieutenant in the United States Navy, and a training officer at the University of Michigan Naval ROTC unit, where he is charged with physically and mentally developing more than 80 young and proud midshipmen.

Ilya Aleksandrovich Ilyin is a retired Kazakhstani weightlifter who won four world championships. On 12 December, 2015 at the President's Cup in Grozny, Russia, Ilyin set two world records in the −105 kg class. He lifted 246 kg in the clean and jerk and 437 kg in the total. Ilyin was named IWF World Weightlifter of the Year four times: in 2005, 2006, 2014, and 2015.

Yuderqui Maridalia Contreras, also known as Yudelkis Contreras, is a Dominican Republican weightlifter. She went to the 2008 Summer Olympics where she was 5th. After the Games, she was accused of failing a doping control, but the case ended with her name cleared. She was one of the two athletes that represented her home country in weightlifting at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She failed her three attempts in the snatch stage ending with no mark.

She repeated her feat in the +87 kg category at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, once again earning bronze, and becoming the first US woman to earn two Olympic weightlifting medals.
