Mark Ellsworth Madsen is an American basketball coach and former NBA player who is the head coach of the California Golden Bears of the ACC. Due to his hustle and physical style of play, he received the nickname "Mad Dog" while playing for the San Ramon Valley High School Wolves, and the moniker continued during his time with the Stanford Cardinal and beyond. He played professionally in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Los Angeles Lakers, winning two NBA championships. He also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Dakota Wizards were an American professional basketball team based in Bismarck, North Dakota. They played in the NBA Development League from 2006 until 2012. A three-time All-American basketball player for the Colorado State Rams, Hammon went on to play for the San Antonio Stars and New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for several other teams outside the United States. Hammon was born and raised in the United States, but she became a naturalized Russian citizen in 2008 and represented the Russian national team in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Eric Musselman is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at the University of Southern California. He is the former head coach at the University of Arkansas, University of Nevada, Reno, the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Between head coaching stints at Golden State and Sacramento, Musselman served as an assistant for the Memphis Grizzlies under Mike Fratello. He moved to the college coaching ranks in 2012 as an assistant at Arizona State. From 2014–19, he was the head coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack. The son of former NBA head coach Bill Musselman, Eric Musselman was a head coach in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) before becoming an assistant coach with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Orlando Magic, and Atlanta Hawks.
The South Bay Lakers are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the team is owned by the Los Angeles Lakers, who were the first National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise to own a D-League team. At the conclusion of the 2016–17 D-League season, the D-Fenders re-branded as the South Bay Lakers for the G League. They also moved their home games from the Toyota Sports Center into the UCLA Health Training Center, a new practice facility for the Los Angeles Lakers in El Segundo.

Philip Gregory Hubbard is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He won a gold medal in the 1976 Summer Olympics and after graduating from the University of Michigan, played for the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1979 to 1989. Conner David Henry is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Charlotte 49ers men's basketball team. He played collegiately for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, and was selected by the Houston Rockets, with the 89th overall pick of the 1986 NBA draft. Henry had short stints with four National Basketball Association (NBA) teams, in two seasons, before he embarked on a career in the American minor leagues and overseas.

The 2011–12 NBA Development League season is the 11th season of the NBA Development League. The league was formed in 2001 as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL). The league adopted its current name in 2005 to reflect its close affiliation with the NBA. The 2011–12 season will be competed by 16 teams. The Los Angeles D-Fenders, after spending one season inactive, joined the 15 returning teams from the previous season. The Utah Flash ceased operation at the end of the previous season and would not be playing in the 2011–12 season. The New Mexico Thunderbirds relocated to Canton, Ohio and were renamed as the Canton Charge.
Rex Kalamian is an American professional basketball coach who serves as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks and the head coach for the Armenia men's national basketball team. He was formerly a Pro Player Personnel Scout for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He previously had coaching terms with the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Toronto Raptors. He is well known for his nine years with the Clippers.

Paul Woolpert is an American basketball coach and scout. He was the head coach of the Yakima Sun Kings in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) for seven non-consecutive years. He was named CBA Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2008. He led the Sun Kings to four CBA Championships. A new Yakima Sun Kings team was founded in 2017 and Woolpert was hired as head coach. The team won the North American Premier Basketball (NAPB) Championship in 2018. He was fired during the 2019 NAPB Championship Series.
Dan Craig is an American professional basketball coach who serves as a lead assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He served in various coaching staff roles for the Miami Heat between 2003 and 2015 before joining the Sioux Falls Skyforce as their head coach for the 2015–16 season and guiding them to their maiden D-League championship. Craig returned to coach the Heat for the 2016–17 season.
Casey Hill is an American professional basketball coach who serves as assistant coach for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Hill previously served four years as the head coach for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League.
