Castropol is one of nine parishes (administrative divisions) in the Castropol municipality, within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.
The population is 540 (INE 2005).

These villages belonged to the sixth sección or party that made up the Junta General del Principado, the historical governing body of Asturias. Episcopalías was composed by the following villages or concejos: Castropol, Rivera de Abajo, Rivera de Arriba, Langreo, Llanera, Quirós, Teverga, Noreña, Las Regueras, Navia, Morcín, Tudela, Proaza, Santo Adriano, Pajares, Riosa, Olloniego, Yernes y Tameza, Bimenes, Paderni, Sobrescobio and Peñaflor.
