Glen Matlock is an English musician, best known for being the bass guitarist in the original line-up of the punk rock band the Sex Pistols. He is credited as a songwriter on 10 of the 12 songs on the Sex Pistols' only officially released studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, although he had left the band early in the recording process, credited as bassist and backing vocalist on only one song on the album, "Anarchy in the U.K.". However, on the bootleg album Spunk, Matlock played bass on all the songs, which included earlier studio recordings of 10 of the 12 songs that later appeared on the Bollocks album.

The all-female band aggressively criticized patriarchy and gender roles but did not associate with the contemporaneous riot grrrl movement. They released several records and toured extensively and then disbanded in 1995. Members later played in the bands Instant Girl and Aus Rotten, while drummer Michelle Cruz Gonzales and vocalist Adrienne Droogas have been active as writers.
Behind Enemy Lines is an American crust punk band, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They play in a crossover thrash style of anarchist crust punk and thrash metal. The band features vocalist Dave Trenga and drummer Matt Garabedian, both of Aus-Rotten, Mary Bielich and Matt Tuite and formerly guitarist Bill Chamberlain of The Pist and Caustic Christ.
Verbal Abuse is an American hardcore punk/crossover thrash band formed in Houston in 1981. They were one of the early bands of hardcore punk. In 1983, they relocated to San Francisco where they recorded a solid hardcore album which remains a classic. By 1985, along with multiple band member changes, they had transitioned to a crossover thrash sound, becoming a significant part of the nascent California crossover thrash scene. Eventually they settled in Oakland, California.

Christ on Parade was an American, mid-late-1980s San Francisco East Bay political hardcore punk band, formed in 1985 by ex-members of Teenage Warning and peace punks Treason. Their debut, "Sounds of Nature" was issued on Pusmort Records. The group featured vocalist Barrie Evans, guitarists Mike Scott and Noah Landis, bassist Malcolm Sherwood, and drummer Todd Kramer. Some members lived in the East Bay's New Method Warehouse and they played shows with the Subhumans, Agnostic Front, Circle Jerks and Conflict. Christ On Parade headlined the first-ever show at Berkeley's long-running 924 Gilman venue.
