The group currently consists of guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, bassist Dan Kenny, vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida and drummer Ernie Iniguez.
The Color Morale is an American metalcore band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 2007. The band includes vocalist/keyboardist Garret Rapp, guitarists Devin King and Aaron Saunders, bassist Mike Honson, and drummer Steve Carey. Rapp and Carey are the only two members of the original line-up that remain in the band. The group was signed to Fearless Records before they went into a hiatus in 2018. The band officially returned in March 2020. Before the hiatus, the band has released five studio albums: We All Have Demons, My Devil in Your Eyes, Know Hope, Hold On Pain Ends, and Desolate Divine.

The majority of the follow-up to the previous record, Awaken the Dreamers, was recorded and mixed once again at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland with producer Zack Ohren. It is the final album to feature bassist Mike Tiner, guitarist Francesco Artusato, and drummer Adam Pierce.

Ending Is the Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show is a live video album by American deathcore band Suicide Silence. It was released on CD/DVD/Blu-ray on February 18, 2014. The performance was organized in memorial of founding Suicide Silence vocalist Mitch Lucker, after his death from injuries sustained by a motorcycle accident on November 1, 2012. The performance featured a range of guest vocalists for each of the songs, each of whom were close to Lucker in some way. The title is derived from the title of the opening track of their debut self-titled EP. In 2013, Hernan Hermida, former vocalist of All Shall Perish took over Mitch Lucker's place as a new singer for Suicide Silence. Original Suicide Silence members Rick Ash on guitar and Josh Goddard on drums made a surprise reunion to perform the first three songs off of the self-titled EP, "Destruction of a Statue", "Distorted Thought of Addiction", and "Ending Is the Beginning". Former bass player Mike Bodkins didn't participate at the memorial show due to travel issues. Guitarist Mark Heylmun played bass for the first three songs instead. After which, the current line up played the rest of the songs.

Written by Minogue, Sky Adams, Danny Shah and Kiris Houston, and produced by Adams, the song was released as the fourth single from the album and was sent to radios on 4 August 2018, and it appeared on digital platforms on 17 August. Like previous singles from Golden, "A Lifetime to Repair" uses elements of country pop combined with elements of dance-pop, backed by acoustic guitars, pianos and a banjo. Lyrically, the song deals with Minogue's past heart breaks, and how she would learn from these for future potential relationships. The song was slightly reworked for single release with a stronger bass and more emphasis on the fiddle.

Two years after its release, drummer Alex Lopez would depart from the band. Although Lopez is credited for drums on the album, they were actually recorded by Whitechapel's former touring drummer Ernie Iniguez, who later officially joined Suicide Silence in Lopez' place.
