Cecelia Peters, [lower-alpha 1] known professionally as Cece Peters, is an Australian television and theatre actress. Her career began with playing Tiger Johnson on the Nine Network children's series Snake Tales . She later joined the cast of the Network Ten drama series Playing for Keeps , playing Paige Dunkeley.

Career

Peters secured a role on the Nine Network series Snake Tales , playing Tiger Johnson. The show follows a group of children whose parents run a snake sanctuary. She was then known professionally as Cecelia Peters. [1] She then appeared in an episode of City Homicide as Jade Worthington. [2] In 2013, Peters graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. [3] Her affiliation with the WAAPA gave Peters the opportunity to be involved in various professional theatre productions, including Hamlet. [4] [5]

In 2015, Peters had a role in the mini-series Catching Milat . [6] In 2016, the actress secured the role of junior television producer Alice Felton-Smith in the Network Ten drama The Wrong Girl . [7]

In 2018, she appeared as Julie in the Nine Network's True Story with Hamish & Andy . [4] In May that year it was announced that Peters had secured the regular role of Paige Dunkeley in the Network Ten drama series Playing for Keeps . The show is about a group of AFL players and their wives' personal lives. She assumes the role of a "down-to-earth high school teacher". [8] In 2023, Peters appeared as Kazzy Pearce in Paramount+'s film, The Appleton Ladies' Potato Race . [9] In 2024, Peters appeared as Liv Bellen in the soap opera, Neighbours . [10]

Isabella Giovinazzo is an Australian actress. From 2013 until 2017, she played Phoebe Nicholson in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. After leaving the serial, she played Jessie Davies in the Network Ten drama series Playing for Keeps from 2018 until 2019. Giovinazzo has had supporting roles in web series Sex and Death, the 2021 miniseries Lie With Me, and soap opera Neighbours as Felicity Higgins.

Anna Bamford is an Australian television and theatre actress. She won the role of Miranda Beaumont in Wonderland shortly after graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2012. For her performance, Bamford earned a nomination for the Logie Award for Most Outstanding Newcomer. After Wonderland was cancelled in 2015, Bamford made her major theatre debut in a production of Freak Winds. Playing for Keeps is an Australian drama television series, which began airing on Network 10 on 19 September 2018. The series was created from a concept by the network's head of drama Rick Maier. It centres on the wives and girlfriends of the players at the fictional Southern Jets Football Club. Its ensemble cast includes Madeleine West, Annie Maynard, Cece Peters, Olympia Valance, Isabella Giovinazzo, and Jeremy Lindsay Taylor. Playing for Keeps was renewed for a second season, which premiered on 16 October 2019.

George Pullar is an Australian actor from Brisbane. He is known for his roles as Larry Forbes in the fifth season of the Australian drama series A Place to Call Home and Daniel Fletcher in the Network Ten drama series Playing for Keeps. Ethan Panizza is an Australian television actor and former football player from Albany, Western Australia. Panizza was interested in acting from an early age but chose to pursue a career in Australian rules football. He is the son of successful footballer Darrell Panizza and played in the West Australian Football League. He played his last professional game in 2014 and decided to concentrate on his acting career. He began by appearing in short film and television commercials. In 2018, Panizza took the role of Rusty O'Reilly in the Network Ten drama series Playing for Keeps.

Nicholas Russell is an Australian television actor, producer and director from Melbourne. Known professionally as Nick Russell, he began his career aged twelve when he starred in the Nine Network children's series Pig's Breakfast as Rodney Green. He studied science/law at university and took a job with a law firm which filled his time between acting roles which included guest parts on the soap opera Neighbours and the comedy drama series Sleuth 101.

Tom O'Sullivan is an Australian television, film and theatre actor. O’Sullivan was born in Perth, Western Australia, and later relocated to Sydney to study at the National Institute of Dramatic Art where he graduated in 2003. His first television role was a guest role on the soap opera Home and Away and was followed by playing Tom Huppatz in the ABC TV mini-series Rain Shadow. In 2010, O'Sullivan played Sean 'Grunter' Sinclair in the crime drama Underbelly: The Golden Mile and joined the main cast of Nine Network drama Cops LAC playing Senior Constable Nathan Holt. He has also portrayed William Chambers in the TVNZ 1 drama When We Go To War and Michael Shrimpton in the Seven Network drama series Molly.

The Appleton Ladies' Potato Race is a 2023 Australian feature film based on the stage play of the same name by Australian playwright and journalist Melanie Tait. The film premiered in Australia on Network Ten and was released on streaming on Paramount+ Australia.
