Cedric Edward Johnson (born September 6, 2002) is an American professional football defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Ole Miss.

Early life

Johnson attended Davidson High School in Mobile, Alabama. As a senior, he had 56 tackles and 16 sacks. He committed to the University of Mississippi to play college football. [1]

College career

As a true freshman at Ole Miss in 2020, Johnson played in all 10 games as a linebacker and had seven tackles and three sacks. As a sophomore in 2021, he started 11 of 13 games at defensive end, recording 33 tackles and 6.5 sacks. [2] [3] He started eight of 11 games his junior year in 2022, finishing the season with 32 tackles and four sacks. [4] Johnson returned to Ole Miss for his senior season in 2023. [5] He was selected to play in the 2024 Senior Bowl. [6]
