Lucas Carter Patrick (born July 30, 1993) is an American football center who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Duke.
Patrick played high school football at Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tennessee and was a three-year letterman. His senior year in 2010, he earned Tennessee Sports Writers Association First-team 6A All-State honors, was named to The Tennessean’s Dream Team, was a team captain and played in the Toyota Tennessee East vs. West All-Star Classic on December 11, 2010. He also participated in track and field at Brentwood. [1]
Patrick lettered for the Duke Blue Devils of Duke University from 2012 to 2015. [1] He was redshirted in 2011. [2] On March 24, 2012, he had surgery to repair a fractured left ankle. Patrick missed the first eight games of the 2012 season while recovering from the surgery. He then played in the final five games of the season and played 137 snaps. He played in all 14 games, starting 1, in 2013 and played 340 snaps. Patrick's one start was at right tackle in place of the injured Perry Simmons in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Patrick started 12 games at left guard, missed one game due to injury and played 633 snaps in 2014. [1] He started all 13 games, played 1,067 snaps and recorded one solo tackle in 2015. [1] [3] He was named Honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference by both the conference's head coaches and the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Patrick also earned ESPN All-Bowl Team honors in 2015. He played in 44 games, starting 26, during his college career and played 2,211 snaps. In January 2017, Patrick played in the Tropic Bowl, a college football all-star game. He graduated from Duke in December 2015 with a degree in history. [1]

After going undrafted, Patrick signed with the Green Bay Packers on June 1, 2016. [5] He was waived by the Packers on September 3 and signed to the team's practice squad on September 5, 2016. [6] [7] He signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on January 24, 2017. [8] [9]
Patrick made the Packers' final roster in 2017, playing in 12 games, starting two at guard.
He was re-signed on March 13, 2018. [10]
On December 28, 2019, Patrick signed a two-year contract extension with the Packers. [11] The next day, Patrick replaced an injured Corey Linsley at center during a Week 17 victory over the Detroit Lions, despite primarily playing as a guard for most of the season.
On March 16, 2022, Patrick signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears. [12] Patrick announced he would play at center for the Bears. [13] After alternating with Teven Jenkins at right guard the first two games, he was named the starter in Week 3, but moved to left guard in Week 5 following an injury to Cody Whitehair. Patrick would get the starting job at center by Week 7 against the New England Patriots, [14] but left the game in the first quarter with a toe injury. [15] Patrick was placed on injured reserve on October 27 and was ruled out for the rest of the season. [16]
Patrick entered the 2023 season as the Bears starting center, starting 15 games.
John Thomas O'Sullivan is an American former professional football quarterback who played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL), two seasons in NFL Europe and one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the UC Davis Aggies, starting for three years and throwing for career totals of 10,745 yards and 96 touchdowns. He was named a first-team All-American in 2000 and a second-team All-American in 2001. He was inducted into the Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.

Ben Edwards is a former American football wide receiver. He played football and basketball at York High School in Yorktown, Virginia. He played college football at Richmond for four years. Edwards earned First-team All-CAA honors in 2012 after leading the CAA in receptions with 80. He was also named First-team All-CAA his senior year in 2013. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, Edwards remained unsigned until being signed by the New York Giants in May 2015. He played in two games for the Giants in 2015, catching one pass for nine yards. He spent the entire 2016 season on injured reserve and became a free agent afterwards.

Gregory Brian Mancz is an American football center who is a free agent. He played college football at Toledo, where he was a four-year starter at several positions along the offensive line. He earned various All-American and All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) honors during his college career. His senior season in 2014, he won the Vern Smith Leadership Award, which is given to the best player in the MAC. Mancz went undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft and signed with the Texans shortly thereafter. Due to a season-ending injury to Nick Martin, Mancz was the Texans' starting center for the entire 2016 season.
Corey Moore is a former American football safety. He lettered in football, basketball and track at Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia. In football, he earned SuperPrep All-American honors and played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He then played college football at Georgia, where he was a four-year letterman. Moore played in 50 games during his college career, recording 76 tackles, one sack, two interceptions and three pass breakups. He signed with the Houston Texans after going undrafted in the 2015 NFL draft. He played in one game for the Texans in 2015, started eight games in 2016 and started three games in 2017.
Jordan Cornell Williams is a former American football linebacker. He played his senior season of high school football at Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Florida. He played college football at Tennessee for four years. Williams played in 44 games, of which he started 21, during his college career, recording 66 tackles and 6.5 sacks. After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, he signed with the New York Jets and spent time on the team's practice squad before being released in September 2015. He was then signed by the Miami Dolphins, where he spent time on both the practice squad and active roster, before being released in September 2016. He was then signed to the Giants' practice squad in December 2016.
Connor Hamlett is a former American football tight end. He lettered in football, basketball and track at Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood, Washington, where he earned All-State honors in football his senior year. He played college football at Oregon State, recording career totals of 104 receptions for 1,109 yards and 10 touchdowns. He finished third in school history in receptions for a tight end and fifth in receiving yards for a tight end. He was named Pac-12 All-Academic second-team his junior season in 2013 and Pac-12 All-Academic first-team his senior season in 2014. Hamlett signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars after going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, and has since been a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Hotshots, and Seattle Dragons.
Jarrod Wesley Pughsley is a former American football offensive guard. He played football and basketball at Lima Senior High School in Lima, Ohio. He played college football at Akron, where he was a four-year letterman. Pughsley was named Third-team All-MAC his senior year in 2013. He played in 35 games, and started 23 of them, during his college career. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys. However, Pughsley suffered an injury and was released in July 2014. He was then a member of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2014 to 2016, spending the majority of the time on the practice squad. He played in two regular season games and one playoff game for the Chiefs in 2015. Pughsley was signed to the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad in November 2016 and was released by the team before the start of the 2017 regular season.
