Early life

Rivers attended Oakleaf High School located in Orange Park, Florida. Coming out of high school, Rivers was rated as a four-star recruit, the 2nd overall player in the state of Florida, and the 32nd overall player in the class of 2020. [1] Additionally, Rivers held offers from schools such as Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and Miami. [2] Ultimately, Rivers decided to commit to play college football for the Miami Hurricanes. [3] [4]

College career

In Rivers first collegiate season in 2020, he would play in seven games for Miami. [5] [6] During the 2021 season, Rivers entered the season as the stater where he started the first three games, before missing the rest of the season with a knee injury. [7] [8] In the 2022 season, Rivers appeared in nine games for the Hurricanes, where he made seven starts. [9] [10] During the 2023 season, Rivers played in and started all 13 games for the Hurricanes, where he earned second team All-ACC honors. [11] [12]
