The 2025 season will be the Pittsburgh Steelers' 93rd in the National Football League (NFL), their fourth under general manager Omar Khan, their 25th playing their home games at Acrisure Stadium and their 19th under head coach Mike Tomlin.

Draft trades

1. The Steelers traded a fifth-round selection to the New York Jets in exchange for WR Mike Williams. ^[1]
2. The Steelers traded a sixth-round selection, a 2024 fifth-round selection and G Kevin Dotson to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a fifth-round selection and a 2024 fourth-round selection. ^[2]
3. The Steelers traded a conditional sixth-round selection to the Chicago Bears in exchange for QB Justin Fields. The condition – which would have converted the selection to a fourth-round selection if Fields played in 51% of the Steelers' snaps in 2024 – was not met. ^[3]
4. The Steelers traded G Kendrick Green to the Houston Texans in exchange for a sixth-round selection. ^[4]
5. The Steelers traded a conditional seventh-round selection to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for G Jesse Davis. ^[5]

The Steelers' preseason opponents and schedule will be announced in May, in conjunction with the release of the regular season schedule.

Regular season

2025 opponents

The Steelers will play nine games at home and eight on the road in 2025. Exact dates and times will be announced in May. In addition to home and away matchups against each of their AFC North divisional rivals, they are also scheduled to play against each of the teams in the AFC East and NFC North, as well as the teams that also finished in second place in each of the AFC South, AFC West and NFC West. ^[8] During the season, the Steelers will also become the first NFL team to play one of their home games at Croke Park in Dublin, as part of the NFL International Series. ^[9]
