Cefni Hospital (Welsh : Ysbyty Cefni) is a health facility in Llangefni, Anglesey, Wales. It is managed by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
The original hospital on the site was built in the early 20th century. [1] The site was redeveloped to create a substantially enlarged facility, intended to facilitate the closure of the aging Druid Isolation Hospital, [2] [3] in 1993. [4] The enlarged facility became a facility for older people with memory difficulties in 2009. [5]
Llangefni is the county town of Anglesey in Wales and contains the principal offices of the Isle of Anglesey County Council. The 2011 census recorded Llangefni's population as 5,116 people, making it the second-largest settlement in the county and the largest settlement on the individual island. The community includes the village of Rhosmeirch.
Llyn Cefni is a small reservoir in the centre of Anglesey, Wales which is managed by Welsh Water and Hamdden Ltd, while the fishery is managed by the Cefni Angling Association. The reservoir is located just 1 kilometre (0.6 mi) northwest of the island's county town of Llangefni.
