Celebrity Sex Scandal is an avant-garde metal band from San Antonio, Texas. It was started in 2011 by ex-Dog Fashion Disco guitarist Greg Combs. After raising money through Kickstarter in late 2012, [1] the band released their debut album in February 2013, entitled Derivative. [2]

In early 2014 Celebrity Sex Scandal announced their second album Integral. In July 2014 during a radio interview John and Justin debuted two new songs off of Integral called "Crawl" and "Trapped By The Speed of Light". Integral was released in April 2015. After several years of inactivity a new album titled The Fundamental was announced featuring Dog Fashion Disco alumni John Ensminger and Jeff Siegel. It was released on Razor To Wrist Records in the fall of 2020. [3]

The Alter Boys is an American rock supergroup from Cleveland, Ohio. The band includes members of the bands Dog Fashion Disco, Polkadot Cadaver, Unified Culture, Mudfoot, Original Pranksta, Venomin James, and Mushroomhead. Also featured in the band was Ryan Dunn of the stunt show Jackass. They play in various musical styles and released their first album, The Exotic Sounds of the Alter Boys, in March 2005. They were signed to the Fractured Transmitter record label. However, in late February 2009, they were removed from the Fractured Transmitter site. Rotten Records re-released The Exotic Sounds of the Alter Boys in January 2009. Though they never broke up, Todd Smith has since stated that The Alter Boys are "dead".

The City Is Alive Tonight...Live In Baltimore is a live album by Dog Fashion Disco released on January 25, 2005. It was recorded at Fletcher's, a club in Baltimore, MD, on June 14, 2004. It also contains the bonus DVD, DFD-Day, a recording of the day of the show, the show itself, the party afterwards, and the next morning. The songs "Worm in a Dog's Heart", "Rapist Eyes", "G Eye Joe" & Breed, however, are not present in the DVD, only in the CD. DFD-DAY was directed by Justin McConnell, and partially inspired the production of the feature documentary Working Class Rock Star. The album was re-released in 2006 through Rotten Records.

DFDVD is the first DVD by Dog Fashion Disco released in July 2004. It includes two hours of footage following the band and their exploits on the road through various steps of their career, from early lineups to current. Also included are all their music videos, an entire live set shot in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, a collection of bonus live videos and the making of the "Grease" video. It was out of print, very rare and costly to get a hold of for over seven years, but was re-released on the band's label Razor to Wrist Records in 2012. Creation of the "DFDVD" partially inspired the production of the documentary "Working Class Rock Star".

Sweet Nothings is the seventh studio album by Dog Fashion Disco, released in 2014. Their first album in eight years, it was written and recorded after the band reunited in 2013, following an almost seven-year hiatus. It is the first album with Tim Swanson of Ideamen on keyboard. However, he played with the band on the 2006 tour in support for their previous album, Adultery. Todd Smith said about the new album: "It was a love letter to our fans who missed us and grew up listening to DFD".

Emphatic was an American hard rock band from Omaha, founded by guitarist-songwriter Justin McCain in 2004. Their major label debut record Damage for Atlantic reached No. 9 on Billboard Top Heatseekers chart in 2011. The band's second album Another Life climbed to No. 8 on Top Heatseekers chart in 2013. Justin McCain announced changing the band's name and continuing as Through Fire in December 2015.
