Jawhar Glass, better known by his stage name Illogic, is an American indie hip hop artist from Columbus, Ohio. He has collaborated with many artists—particularly Blueprint, who has produced three of his albums, but also Aesop Rock, Vast Aire, Eyedea, Slug and other MCs. His style has been described as having "a classically metered flow" with "deep lyrics and poetic verses."

Albert Shepard, better known by his stage name Blueprint, is an American hip hop musician from Columbus, Ohio. He is a founder of Weightless Recordings.

Aesop Rock American rapper

Ian Matthias Bavitz, better known by his stage name Aesop Rock, is an American hip hop recording artist and producer residing in Portland, Oregon. He was at the forefront of the new wave of underground and alternative hip hop acts that emerged during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was signed to El-P's Definitive Jux label until it went on hiatus in 2010. betterPropaganda ranked him at number 19 at the Top 100 Artists of the Decade.

Reception

Dominic Umile of PopMatters gave the album a favorable review, saying, "Celestial Clockwork's mystifying backdrop is an example of Blueprint's ability to hold back as a producer when necessary, but is also an expansive assortment of psychedelic beats that naturally complement Illogic's sly, off-kilter approach." [4]

Kamaal Ibn John Fareed, better known by his stage name Q-Tip, is an American rapper, record producer, singer, actor and DJ. Nicknamed The Abstract, he is noted for his innovative jazz-influenced style of hip hop production and his philosophical, esoteric and introspective lyrical themes. He embarked on his music career in the late 1980s, as an MC and main producer of the influential alternative hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest. In the mid-1990s, he co-founded the production team The Ummah, followed by the release of his gold-certified solo debut Amplified in 1999. In the 2000s, he released the Grammy Award-nominated album The Renaissance and the experimental album Kamaal the Abstract.
