The Simmons Bank Open is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It was first played in June 2016 at the Nashville Golf & Athletic Club in Brentwood, Tennessee. The LIV Golf United Kingdom is a golf tournament that is held in the United Kingdom. The inaugural tournament was held in June 2022 at the Centurion Club near Hemel Hempstead, England, as part of the LIV Golf Invitational Series, a golf series led by Greg Norman and funded by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund. The 2022 48-player field included Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Sergio García, and Kevin Na.
The 2022 LIV Golf Invitational Series was the inaugural season of LIV Golf. The season consisted of seven 54-hole tournaments, featuring 48 players and no cut, with a team championship event at the season end.
