CetraRuddy Architecture is a New York City-based architecture and interior design firm with projects in New York City, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. It provides architectural and interior design services for residences, hotels, schools, and cultural institutions. The firm was founded in 1987 by John Cetra and Nancy J. Ruddy and is led by four principals and three associate principals with a staff of over 100 architects and interior designers.
CetraRuddy designed One Madison, a 50-story "sliver building" condominium tower on East 23rd Street at Madison Avenue, south of Madison Square Park. [1] In 2014, the building received the Architizer A+ Jury Award for Residential High Rise, [2] and since 2013, it has been part of the "Sky High & the Logic of Luxury" exhibition at the Skyscraper Museum in New York City.
The firm is also responsible for the adaptive reuse of residences of the Walker Tower, a former telephone switch building in Chelsea, Manhattan, and for the new Lincoln Square Synagogue building, which received an Honorable Mention for Religious Institution for Interior Design magazine's 2013 Best of Year Awards. In 2018 they were featured in the New York Times for their new-construction apartment project ARO, on the site of the late Roseland Ballroom. [4]
CetraRuddy were appointed architects for the conversion from office to residential use of the large 25 Water Street building in New York City starting in 2023, with 1,300 apartments planned. [5]

The Orion is a skyscraper located at 350 West 42nd Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City, New York, U.S. The building rises 604 feet above street level, containing 551 residential units across 58 floors, and is the 128th tallest building in New York. Despite its relatively modest height for a skyscraper, the residential building has dominated the 42nd Street landscape west of Times Square since its topout in September 2005, and the building has views of New York City in every direction.
Cassa Hotel & Residences is a 48-story building at 70 West 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan in New York City. It was designed by TEN Arquitectos headed by Mexican architect Enrique Norten in collaboration with the American design firm CetraRuddy and developed by Solly Assa's Assa Properties.
One Madison is a luxury residential condominium tower located on 23rd Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South, at the southern end of Madison Avenue, across from Madison Square Park in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, New York City. The building's official address and main lobby entrance is at 23 East 22nd Street, rather than at 1 Madison Avenue; there is no public entrance on 23rd Street.

She is also the RIBA External Examiner for the Bartlett UCL London [2018-2022], the Creative Director for the Venice Biennale Virtual Italian Pavilion [2021]. Her Ted talk “Crowdfunding Urban Planning” was in TED Global in Edinburgh Scotland 2013.

DeSimone has designed over 10,000 projects in 40 states and 45 countries.
45 Broad Street is a residential building being constructed in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City. The building was originally planned as Lower Manhattan's tallest residential tower. Excavation started in 2017, but as of 2020, construction is on hold.
25 Water Street, also known as 4 New York Plaza, is a building at Water Street and Broad Street the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City, U.S. It directly adjoins both 125 Broad Street to the south, which is connected, and the Vietnam Veterans Plaza to the east. The building was completed in 1969 and operated as an office building from 1969 to 2022. As of 2023 it is being redeveloped into a residential building that is planned to have over 1,300 apartments, which would make it the largest office-to-residential property conversion in the United States.
DXA Studio is an American architecture firm based in New York City and known for its work on the conversion of the William Ulmer Brewery in Brooklyn and the design of The Rowan Astoria, a residential development in Queens that set a record in 2021 for the most expensive condominium unit sold in the borough.
55 Broad Street is a 30-story building at Broad Street and Beaver Street in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City, United States. It adjoins 15 William, a skyscraper to the east. The building was constructed from 1964 to 1967, and initially operated as the headquarters of the trading firm Goldman Sachs from 1967 to 1983. It continued as an office building afterward, although it was vacant for renovations from 1991 to 1995. In 2023, renovations began to convert the building from commercial space into residential apartments. The project is expected to create 571 apartments and to finish in around 2025.
ARO is a rental luxury apartment skyscraper in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It is located on 242 West 53rd Street, the former site of the Roseland Ballroom. It was designed by CetraRuddy. Construction began in 2015 and was completed in 2018; it started leasing in October 2018.
30 East 29th Street is a residential skyscraper in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. The 605-foot-tall tower is 45 stories and contains 123 condominiums. The tower was developed by the Rockefeller Group and designed by the architecture firm CetraRuddy. It is the Rockefeller Group's first residential project.
