Chad Oxendine (born June 10, 1981) is an American baseball coach and former catcher who is the currently the associate head baseball coach of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. He previously was the head coach of the Longwood Lancers. He played college baseball at Coastal Carolina for head coach Gary Gilmore from 2001 to 2004.
Oxendine was a catcher at Coastal Carolina from 2001 to 2004, where he was a co-captain his junior and senior seasons, as well as a second-team All-Big South Conference player as a senior. He signed with the Chicago White Sox after college, spending one season with the Bristol White Sox of the Appalachian League before turning to coaching.
Oxendine began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at UNC Wilmington and later Alabama. He was named a full-time assistant at Richmond in July 2007 and spent three seasons with the program before joining the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, a single-A baseball team that was a part of the Texas Rangers system at the time, as their hitting coach in 2011. [1] He spent one season at his alma mater Coastal Carolina as a volunteer assistant, and did not coach college baseball until he was named an assistant coach at Longwood in 2015.
Oxendine returned to Coastal Carolina in 2017 to serve as the program's director of baseball operations. He was promoted to director of player development in 2020, also adding operations and data analytics duties.
Oxendine was named head coach at Longwood on June 28, 2021. [2]
Oxendine returned home to his alma mater (Coastal Carolina) on June 11, 2024 to be the Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator under new Head Coach Kevin Schnall [3]

James Moore "Big Jim" Tatum was an American football and baseball player and coach. Tatum served as the head football coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Oklahoma (1946), and the University of Maryland, College Park (1947–1955), compiling a career college football record of 100–35–7. His 1953 Maryland team won a national title. As a head coach, he employed the split-T formation with great success, a system he had learned as an assistant under Don Faurot at the Iowa Pre-Flight School during World War II. Tatum was also the head baseball coach at Cornell University from 1937 to 1939, tallying a mark of 20–40–1. Tatum's career was cut short by his untimely death in 1959. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1984.
Dameyune Vashon Craig is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the wide receivers coach at Georgia State University. He was most recently the wide receivers coach at Texas A&M University. Craig played professionally as quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
Harold Nichols is an American football coach and former player. He was the head football coach at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, from 2009 to 2016. Nichols played college football as a quarterback at Presbyterian from 1987 to 1989. He has worked an assistant football coach at Georgia Southern University, the University of Rhode Island, Bucknell University, and his alma mater, Presbyterian.
Charles Warren Noe was an American college basketball coach and broadcaster. Noe was credited by former University of North Carolina basketball coach Dean Smith with creating the 4-corner "stall" offense for which Smith became famous for utilizing at UNC, during Noe's time as hoops coach at the University of South Carolina.
The Longwood Lancers men's basketball team is the Division I basketball team that represents Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Since 2012, the team has competed in the Big South Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Their current head coach is Griff Aldrich, a one-time lawyer and chief financial officer of a private equity firm who formerly served as the recruiting director for UMBC. The Lancers made their first appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2022, followed by another appearance in 2024.
Chad Holbrook is an American baseball coach, who is the current head baseball coach of the College of Charleston Cougars. Prior to becoming head coach for the Cougars, Holbrook was head coach at the University of South Carolina, and an assistant for both the University of North Carolina and the University of South Carolina.
Joshua S. Holliday is an American college baseball coach and former professional player in Minor League Baseball. Currently the head coach of the Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball team, he was hired to this position prior to the 2013 season. In 2014, Holliday was the Big 12 Conference Baseball Coach of the Year as OSU claimed the conference regular season championship.
Matthew Aaron Curtis is an American college baseball coach and former catcher. He played college baseball at Fresno State University from 1993 to 1996 for coach Bob Bennett. He was the head coach of the California State University, Northridge from 2011 to 2033.
Patrick Mason was an American college baseball coach and former catcher. He was the volunteer assistant coach at Northeastern University. Mason played college baseball at Northeastern University for coach Neil McPhee from 1994 to 1997 and played in the Heartland League for one season in 1997. He served as the head coach at Virginia Tech from 2014–2017. Mason was a catcher for Northeastern for four years, before a brief minor league career. He helped lead the Huskies to a pair of conference titles in 1994 and 1997. He then earned an assistant coaching position at Boston College, his first position under Pete Hughes. After four season with the Eagles, he spent one year at Framingham State before returning to his alma mater for six seasons. Mason was reunited with Hughes at Virginia Tech in 2011, earning the associate head coach position in 2012. Following Hughes' departure for Oklahoma following the Hokies' first-ever selection as a regional host in 2013, Mason was promoted to head coach. After a 90–126–1 record in 4 season at Virginia Tech, Mason was fired.

Marlin Ikenberry is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the James Madison Dukes. He played college baseball at VMI for coach Chris Finwood from 1992 to 1995. He served at head coach of the VMI Keydets for 11 seasons, from 2004 to 2014. He was hired on July 22, 2003, the successor to Tom Slater, who departed for a coaching position at the University of Florida. Ikenberry resigned the position to after the 2014 season to pursue a business opportunity.
Jayson Gee is an American men's college basketball coach who most recently served as an assistant coach under John Brannen at Cincinnati. He was formerly head coach at Longwood from 2013–2018. Prior to Longwood, Gee served as head coach of his alma mater Division II Charleston Golden Eagles and the associate head coach at Division I Cleveland State, Division I St. Bonaventure, and Division I Ohio. In 2015, he was awarded the John Lotz Barnabas award by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Donald Brent Key is an American college football coach and former player. Key is the head football coach at his alma mater, Georgia Tech as of November 2022.
Clifford "Cliff" McKinley Godwin is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the East Carolina Pirates. He played college baseball at East Carolina from 1998 to 2001 for head coach Keith LeClair.

Ryan Mau is an American college baseball coach. He pitched one season at Flagler and three at College of Charleston before two seasons in the Miami Marlins organization and one in independent baseball. His coaching career began at Charleston Southern, where he served as pitching coach for one year. He next moved to Marist for two seasons, guiding the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference pitcher and relief pitcher of the year en route to the MAAC regular season and tournament championship and an NCAA Regional appearance. Next, he moved to VMI where he rose to associate head coach. He helped the Keydets to a school record in wins and their first national rankings, while his pitching staff set school records and ranked among the nation's leaders is several categories. He next moved to Navy, where he served as recruiting coordinator and pitching and catching coach. He helped the Midshipmen to an NCAA Regional appearance. He then served as the head coach of the Longwood Lancers (2015–2021).

Alexander Joseph Guerra is a baseball coach and former infielder, who is the current head baseball coach of the Radford Highlanders. He played college baseball at Greensboro in 2007 and 2008 before transferring to Radford from 2009 to 2011.
