McCullough was Longwood's head coach in 2014. The Lancers went 22–33

McCullough pitched for Longwood while it transitioned to Division I, setting Lancer records for innings pitched and strikeouts. He then played five seasons in independent baseball leagues, including the Frontier League, Northern League, and Atlantic League from 2007 through 2011. He accepted a position as an assistant coach at Longwood beginning with the 2010 season, serving as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator under Buddy Bolding, the 32-year head coach of the Lancers. After Bolding's retirement following the 2013 season, McCullough was elevated to the head coaching position. [1] [2] [3] [4]

McCullough was named the pitching coach for the Manhattan Jaspers baseball on July 10, 2015. [5]

It is named for Buddy Bolding, who was the first head coach of the Lancers' baseball team, who served for 35 seasons from 1978 until his retirement after the 2013 season.

Joshua S. Holliday is an American college baseball coach and former professional player in Minor League Baseball. The 2015–16 Longwood Lancers men's basketball team represented Longwood University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by head coach Jayson Gee, in his third season, and played their home games at Willett Hall in Farmville, Virginia as members of the Big South Conference. It was the program's fortieth season of NCAA competition. They finished the season 10–23, 5–13 in Big South play to finish in a four-way tie for eighth place. They defeated Radford in the first round of the Big South tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to High Point.

Quinn Thomas McDowell is an American former professional basketball player and current coach. He currently serves as an assistant coach with the Longwood Lancers men's basketball team.

Ryan Mau is an American college baseball coach. He pitched one season at Flagler and three at College of Charleston before two seasons in the Miami Marlins organization and one in independent baseball. His coaching career began at Charleston Southern, where he served as pitching coach for one year. He next moved to Marist for two seasons, guiding the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference pitcher and relief pitcher of the year en route to the MAAC regular season and tournament championship and an NCAA Regional appearance. Next, he moved to VMI where he rose to associate head coach. He helped the Keydets to a school record in wins and their first national rankings, while his pitching staff set school records and ranked among the nation's leaders is several categories. He next moved to Navy, where he served as recruiting coordinator and pitching and catching coach. He helped the Midshipmen to an NCAA Regional appearance. He then served as the head coach of the Longwood Lancers (2015–2021).

The 2016–17 Longwood Lancers men's basketball team represented Longwood University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by head coach Jayson Gee, in his fourth season, and played their home games at Willett Hall in Farmville, Virginia as members of the Big South Conference. They finished the season 6–24, 3–15 in Big South play to finish in ninth place. They lost in the first round of the Big South tournament to Charleston Southern.
