Havyaka Brahmins, originally called Havika Brahmana, are a Hindu Brahmin community native to the districts of Shivamogga, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, coastal Karnataka, and the Kasaragod district of Kerala. Jagadguru Shri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Mahaswamigal also known as the Sage of Kanchi or Mahaperiyavar was the 68th Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Moolamnaya Saravjna Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. Mahaperiyavar's discourses have been recorded in a Tamil book titled "Deivathin Kural".

Sri Subramanya Shastrigal, also known as Sri Subramanya Yatheendraal, is the 7th Guru Parampara of Sri Abhirama Bhattar, the great sage who lived in the 17th century A.D. Shastrigal, a great Sanskrit scholar in his own right, was a student of the great Sanskrit scholar Mannargudi Raju Sastri and later was a key member of the team of scholars who trained the Mahaperiyavaa of Kanchi. He has also authored several books in Sanskrit.
Sukanya Ramgopal is an Indian carnatic musician from Tamil Nadu. She is best known as the first woman ghatam player in Carnatic music. She is also proficient in carnatic vocal, violin, mridangam and veena. Rutger Kortenhorst is a teacher of Sanskrit in John Scottus Senior School in Dublin, Ireland. John Scottus School is a private school which has been teaching Sanskrit as a compulsory subject since its inception in 1986. In 2022, the Government of India honored him with the Padma Shri award for his dedicated work to propagate the Sanskrit language in Ireland.
Madhu Iyer is an Indian playback singer. She has recorded songs for films and albums in various Indian languages and has established herself as a known playback singer of South Indian cinema. Madhu aspired to become a playback singer from an early age. At the age of four, she started performing on stages. Apart from playback singing, Madhu performs in musical concerts around the world. She also appears in music videos. She produces her own music videos and teaches Carnatic music.
