The Sri Lanka men's national cricket team, nicknamed The Lions, represents Sri Lanka in men's international cricket. It is a full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) status. The team first played first class cricket in 1926–27 and became an associate member of the ICC in 1965. They made their international debut in the 1975 Cricket World Cup and were later awarded the Test status in 1981, which made Sri Lanka the eighth Test cricket-playing nation. Karunamani Hashan Chamara Silva is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Kalutara Town Club in Tier B of the 2019–20 Premier League Tournament on 5 February 2020. He made his Twenty20 debut on 7 March 2021, for Panadura Sports Club in the 2020–21 SLC Twenty20 Tournament. He made his List A debut on 24 March 2021, for Panadura Sports Club in the 2020–21 Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament.
