Larry Dean Miles of Black Monday gave Chambermade a positive review and pointed to "the intense simplicity of Clay People's powerful guitar oriented crunch, the ever charming 16 Volt, and Non-Aggression Pact's thumping, enduring pulse." [2] Sonic Boom mostly praised the album but noted Non-Aggression Pact's contribution as being a detractor. [3]

Non-aggression Pact is an urban-electro-industrial music group from Tampa, Florida. The band was formed in 1992 by keyboardist/drummer, Jeff Hillard and keyboardist/vocalist Jason Whitcomb. Their music featured an abrasive industrial-dance sound, with funky, grind-hop drum loops overlain by harsh vocals and thought-provoking audio samples from various movies and documentaries. Their lyrics focused mostly on the issues of racism and mass media.
Re-Constriction Records was a division of Cargo Music based in California. The label was founded in 1991 and headed by Chase, who was previously the Music Director at KCR, a student radio station on the campus of San Diego State University. They specialized in releasing bands belonging to the industrial, grindcore, electroclash, aggrotech and EBM genres.
Diatribe was an industrial rock group from San Jose, California which was active in the 1990s. They had a sound similar to 16 Volt and Chemlab, integrating synthesizers and vocal samples with more traditional rock instruments. The band's full-length debut Diatribe was released by Cargo Music and Re-Constriction Records on November 3, 1996.
Therapy is the debut EP of Diatribe, released in 1991 by Eight One Nine Productions. It was reissued by COP International later that year.
Nothing is the second EP by Diatribe, released on October 19, 1992 by Re-Constriction Records.
Killing Floor were an American electro-industrial group based in San Francisco, California, United States. The original incarnation consisted of keyboardists John Belew and Christian Void before guitarist Marc Phillips, percussionist James Basore and bassist Karl Tellefsen were added to the line-up. They released two albums on Re-Constriction Records: Killing Floor in 1995 and Divide by Zero in 1997. The band ceased activities shortly after the release of their 1998 EP Come Together.

It served as a direct sequel to the similarly themed cover album compilation Shut Up Kitty, released in 1993.
TV Terror: Felching a Dead Horse is a various artists compilation album released on September 23, 1997 by Re-Constriction Records. The idea came to fruition when Permission founder Jayson Elliot discovered Monochrome - A Tribute to the Sisters of Mercy via a car ride through Chicago in June 1994 and compiled the music on the second disc. Its release was the cause of the first utterance of the word "felch" on national television when Kurt Loder reported its release on MTV News.
In Radiant Decay is the second studio album by Christ Analogue, released on April 8, 1997, by Cargo Music and Re-Constriction Records. Compared to the band's punk-styled live performances, the album displays more of the band's talent for combining industrial, techno and indie rock into an electronic music format.
Got Moose? Re-Constriction CD Sampler #2 is a various artists compilation album released in 1997 by Re-Constriction Records. The album's title was inspired by Re-Constriction Records photographer Moose. Sonic Boom gave the album a mixed review, calling it an excellent prelude to later label material but noted the contributions of Purr Machine, Hot Box and Sissy Bar as being detractors.
Re-Constriction 10* Year Anniversary is a various artists compilation album released in 1996 by Re-Constriction Records. Sonic Boom commended the collection and claimed "once again the perverse humor of the resident label slumlord has made its way into his product."
