Champ is the second studio album by Tokyo Police Club that was released on June 8, 2010. Champ is the band's second studio album, after the release of Elephant Shell in 2008. Tokyo Police Club released the album's first single, "Breakneck Speed" for free download on their website on March 26, 2010. [1] The next singles released off the album were "Wait Up (Boots of Danger)" [2] followed by "Gone". [3]

As with their debut EP, A Lesson In Crime , Champ was met with a mixed to positive press response, being lauded for their upbeat consistency from one album to the next. Slant Magazine gave it 3/5 stars, calling the band "smart guys with ambitions to be more than another forgotten blog band". [14] Similarly Rolling Stone gave them 3.5/5 stars, praising the way they fused "light-speed guitars with ebullient melodies", saying, "Rarely has crafting such high-velocity guitar pop seemed so easy." [15]

Idlewild is the sixth and final studio album by the American hip hop duo Outkast. It was released on August 22, 2006, by LaFace Records and served as the soundtrack album to the duo's musical film of the same name, which was released that same month. Containing themes relating to the music industry, the album also featured songs not included in the film while incorporating jazz, blues, swing, and soul styles in its music.
Tokyo Police Club is an indie rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2005, it consists of vocalist and bassist Dave Monks, keyboardist Graham Wright, guitarist Josh Hook, and drummer Greg Alsop. The band found early success with their 2006 debut EP A Lesson in Crime, which they followed with several popular releases including the albums Elephant Shell and Champ in 2008 and 2010, respectively. During the 2010s, they released three other studio albums. Among other nominations, the band has been twice nominated for the Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year, in 2011 for Champ and in 2019 for TPC.

Tinted Windows is the eponymous album by American supergroup Tinted Windows. Real Life Is No Cool is a 2010 album by Norwegian musician Hans-Peter Lindstrøm and Norwegian-Mauritian singer Christabelle. The Lindstrøm-produced album was released on January 18, 2010, in the UK and the following day in the United States, on the Oslo-based Smalltown Supersound label. The special edition of the album was released with a bonus disc, containing six remixes. An exclusive edition containing a second disc which featured Lindstrøm's disco version of the Christmas classic "Little Drummer Boy", was available only from the London record store Rough Trade's website. "Girlfriend" was released on 4 June 2013 as the first single, followed by "All Night" on 23 July 2013. The album also includes the hit single "I Love It" which was also included on the band's Swedish-only self-titled debut album Icona Pop. On 16 September 2013, the album was made available to stream in full on the Pitchfork website. The album debuted at no. 36 on the Billboard 200 and fell to no. 136 in its second week.

Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness: Part One is a five-track EP released by Canadian indie group Tokyo Police Club on April 8, 2016. The band released the single "Not My Girl" on February 19, 2016, to promote the EP. The title of this EP is a pun paying homage to the 1995 album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins.

TPC is the fourth studio album by Canadian indie rock group Tokyo Police Club, released by Dine Alone Records on October 5, 2018. The album reunites the band with their early, spontaneous style as well as with Champ producer Rob Schnapf. The album was well-received by fans and critics and was nominated for the 2019 Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year. Two companion records were released in 2020: a self-released collection of demos as well as the Dine Alone-released EP TPC DLX.
