Champion EP is the first extended play by American rapper Brother Ali. It was released on May 11, 2004 via Rhymesayers Entertainment. Recording sessions took place at Trail Mix Recording Studios in Minneapolis. Production was handled entirely by Ant, who also served as executive producer together with Brent Sayers, Brother Ali and Slug.

Jason Heinrichs, also known by his stage name Anomaly was a Canadian-born musician and producer from Minneapolis. He worked primarily in dance music and hip-hop, and was notable for producing some of the earliest works by prominent Twin Cities rappers Atmosphere, Eyedea, P.O.S., and Oddjobs, as well as his own work with house-music duo Roomsa and solo efforts. He also played in Brother Sun Sister Moon, a side project of Information Society's Paul Robb.

Sean Michael Daley, better known by his stage name Slug, is an American rapper from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Slug is best known as one-half of the hip-hop group Atmosphere, which he founded with Derek Turner (Spawn). Turner has since left and Anthony Davis (Ant) produces Atmosphere with Slug. In 1995, Slug, in collaboration with Anthony Davis, Musab Saad, and Brent Sayers founded the Minneapolis-based independent hip hop record label Rhymesayers Entertainment.

He has also released three albums, Melodies and Memories, Melodies and Memories 85–89 and Collection of Sounds Vol. 1.

The album is produced entirely by Ant of Atmosphere. The first single, "Truth Is", was released on January 5, 2007. The second single is "Uncle Sam Goddamn" which was released on May 4, 2007.

<i>The Layover EP</i> 2008 EP by Evidence

The Layover EP is the first solo extended play by American rapper and record producer Evidence. It was released on November 25, 2008, via Decon. Recording sessions took place at Soundproof East, Chop Shop Studios, The Ether, The Lab NYC, Dirt Class West, Daddy's Crib, Soundproof West, Studio 1, Dirty Science Lab 12. Production was handled by The Alchemist, Khrysis, DJ Babu, Sid Roams, and Evidence himself. It features guest appearances from Aloe Blacc, Blu, Defari, Elzhi, Fashawn, Krondon, Phonte and Will.i.am. The album didn't reach the Billboard 200 chart, however, it peaked at No. 27 on the Heatseekers Albums in the United States, and received generally favourable reviews from music critics.

The Truth Is Here is the second EP by Brother Ali. It was released on March 9, 2009, by Rhymesayers Entertainment. The EP contains nine songs which were previously unreleased. The song "Good Lord" had a promotional video. The CD was also sold with a DVD filled with interviews, music videos, and a full-length live performance from his The Undisputed Truth tour.
