Total Nonstop Action Wrestling has maintained at least one primary world championship and tag team championship for its male performers since 2002. [1]
For their female performers, a world championship and tag team championship existed from 2007 and 2009. The tag team title was abandoned in 2013. In 2020 Impact Wrestling re-introduced the Knockouts tag team championship. [2]
During the first five years of the promotion, founder Jeff Jarrett had an agreement with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) to use the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and NWA World Tag Team Championship. [3] On May 13, 2007, the NWA announced it would end their relationship with TNA Wrestling effective immediately stripping Christian Cage and Team 3D of their titles. [4]
On May 14, 2007, Following the end of the NWA relationship Total Nonstop Action Wrestling introduced new official TNA Championship belts. [5] [6] In September 2007, TNA first announced through their TNA Mobile service that they planned to start an official women's division and debut a women's title soon. [7] [8] On October 14, TNA introduced the Knockouts Championship at Bound for Glory event to crown the inaugural Champion. [9]

Mexican America was an American professional wrestling stable in the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, consisting of leader Hernandez, Anarquia, Rosita and Sarita, who were portrayed as villainous anti-Americans, promoting the superiority of Mexican-Americans. While all members were portrayed as Mexican-Americans, Rosita is in fact Puerto Rican-American, while Sarita is Canadian, though she has wrestled in Mexico for the majority of her career, and Hernandez is of both Mexican and Puerto Rican descent. Hernandez and Anarquia are former TNA World Tag Team Champions and Rosita and Sarita former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions. The group's motto was "nada es imposible", after a tattoo on Hernandez's biceps.

The IWGP Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship owned by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) that existed from 1987 until 2021. This article covers the interpretation of the title's history according to Inoki Genome Federation (IGF) and its founder Antonio Inoki. Both promotions agreed on the title's history up to July 15, 2006, when Brock Lesnar, who was the reigning champion, was stripped of the title by NJPW. Inoki saw this event as an error made by NJPW and spawned the IGF version of the title's history, with Lesnar still recognized as the official champion.
