Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland

The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland (Polish : Kancelaria Prezydenta Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej), instituted in 1989, is a governmental institution composed of the immediate staff of the President of Poland that assists and is governed by the President. The objective of the Chancellery is to provide assistance to the President in its multiple echelons of staff, which include the Presidential cabinet and the Chancellery of National Security. The Chief of the Chancellery (Szef Kancelarii) heads the institution; the Chief is appointed by and immediately responsible to the President.

Kwaśniewski won the election, collecting 51.7 percent of votes in the run-off, against 48.3 percent for Lech Wałęsa.

Polskie Zoo was a popular Polish satirical TV program, produced by Marcin Wolski, and aired every Saturday night by Telewizja Polska station TVP1 between 1991–1994. It was focused on the political reality and the leading politicians in the country; and arranged as a puppet show with animals living in a Zoo. The screenplay was written by Marcin Wolski with puppets designed by Jacek Frankowski. The music was composed by Włodzimierz Korcz.

Economic Forum is an annual international meeting of economic and political elites held in the first half of September[1] in the ski and spa resort of Karpacz in south-western Poland. The Forum was founded by Zygmunt Berdychowski in 1992 and it is organised by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies in Warsaw. Between 1992–2019 it was held in Krynica-Zdrój. Within almost 30 years of its history the Economic Forum has evolved from a small conference, with about 100 participants, to one of the biggest and most recognisable meetings of the political and business leaders of Central and Eastern Europe, and is therefore sometimes referred to as the "Eastern Davos".
