Change is the eighth studio album by German recording artist Yvonne Catterfeld. It was released by Veritable Records on 3 December 2021. Her second full-length release with the independent record company, it marked Catterfeld's first album in English language.

He found that during "the best moments on Change, Catterfeld literally shakes off German pop, does more justice to her inspirations and makes some of the best songs of her career [but] a few of the classic weaknesses of "Change" still remain [...] Ironically, the more the album gets closer to the abstract, big themes, it becomes more and more watered down into nice radio nonsense." [1] Plattentests critic Dominik Steiner felt that "Catterfeld's album is pleasantly simple, without giving in to the temptation to oversimplify everything. A positive surprise from an artist who was unfairly treated as a musical lightweight for a long time." [2]
Change debuted and peaked at number 65 on the German Albums Chart in the week of 10 December 2021 and fell out of the chart in its second week. [3] It marked Catterfeld's lowest-charting album yet. [3]

Yvonne Catterfeld is a German singer, actress and television personality. Born and raised in Erfurt, Thuringia, she later moved to Leipzig to pursue her career in music. In 2000, she participated in the debut season of the singing competition series Stimme 2000, where she came in second place. Catterfeld subsequently signed a recording deal with Hansa Records, which released her debut single "Bum" in 2001. The same year, she was propelled to stardom when she was cast in a main role in the German soap opera Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten. In 2003, Catterfeld made her musical breakthrough when her fifth single, "Für dich", became an international number-one hit and produced the equally successful album Meine Welt.
Sabrina Setlur, formerly known as Schwester S., is a German rapper. Her debut was in 1995 under the guidance of 3p Records executive and mentor Moses Pelham, producer of her breakthrough single "Ja Klar". Following the drop of her pseudonym and a number-one single, "Du liebst mich nicht", in 1997, a series of hit records established her position as Germany's "best known and highest-selling female rap act" to date.
Daniel Schuhmacher is a German singer and songwriter. In 2009, he rose to fame after winning the sixth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German edition of Pop Idol. His debut album The Album was released later in the same year and topped the German and Austrian Albums Charts, going gold. It spawned the hit single "Anything but Love", his coronation song, which became a number-one hit Austria, Germany, and Switzerland and was also certified gold.

A melancholic folk pop ballad, the song's lyrics revolve around the breakdown of a relationship with the female protagonist expressing her love for a man whom she attempts to leave. The instrumentation of "Lieber so" includes an acoustic guitar, a cello and a glockenspiel.

Her highest-charting album since Unterwegs (2005), it debuted at number four on the Austrian and German Albums Chart, respectively, and peaked at number seven in Switzerland.
