Charl Pietersen (born 6 January 1983) is a South African cricketer who played for the Eagles cricket team. He is a distant relative of Kevin Pietersen. [2] His brother Ruan Pietersen also played for Griqualand West as a left-arm bowler. [1] [3] Despite being South African Pietersen played County cricket in England under the Kolpak regulations for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. On debut for Northamptonshire in 2005,he took 7–10 in a C&G Trophy game against Denmark at Svanholm Park,Brøndby, [2] [4] a county record. [5]
Marcus Edward Trescothick is an English former cricketer who played first-class cricket for Somerset County Cricket Club,and represented England in 76 Test matches and 123 One Day Internationals. He was Somerset captain from 2010 to 2016 and temporary England captain for several Tests and ODIs. Since retirement he has commentated and coached at both county and international level.
Kevin Peter Pietersen is a former England international cricketer. He is regarded as one of the greatest English batsmen to have played the game. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional off spin bowler who played in all three formats for England between 2004 and 2014,which included a brief tenure as captain. Gareth Kyle Berg is a South African-born English-Italian cricketer who last played domestic cricket for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. Svanholm Park is a cricket ground in Brøndby,Denmark. The ground was constructed following the need for Svanholm Cricket Klub to move from their ground next to the Brøndby Stadium due to Brøndby IF needing to build a new stand which would have encroached on the ground. Svanholm Park was constructed by 1999 and contains three cricket grounds. The grounds overlap one another,so when the centre ground is in use,neither of the grounds flanking it can be used. The grounds facilities also include a purpose built pavilion and indoor practice facilities.
