Charles Poulin (born July 27, 1972) is a former ice hockey player who was awarded the CHL Player of the Year award as a member of the Saint-Hyacinthe Laser of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, but never played in the National Hockey League. [1] He was born in Quebec, Canada. Poulin played for the Fredericton Canadiens of the American Hockey League and Quebec Rafales of the International Hockey League, as well as a number of smaller teams in North America and Europe. He retired from hockey in 2004.

The Canadian Hockey League is an umbrella organization that represents the three Canada-based major junior ice hockey leagues. The CHL was founded in 1975 as the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League, and is composed of its three member leagues, the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. For the 2023–24 season, its three leagues and 60 teams represent nine Canadian provinces as well as four American states.
Joseph Régis Jocelyn Thibault is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. Thibault was born in Montreal, Quebec and grew up in nearby Laval.
Steve Staios is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who currently serves as the president of hockey operations and general manager for the Ottawa Senators. Staios played right defence in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, Atlanta Thrashers, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, and New York Islanders during his career.
Darcy Tucker is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played most of his National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Toronto Maple Leafs. A sixth round draft choice, Tucker began his NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens. Throughout his NHL career he also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Colorado Avalanche. Tucker was born in Castor, Alberta, but grew up in Endiang, Alberta. Tucker is of Métis descent.
The Saint-Hyacinthe Laser were a junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 1989 to 1996. They played their home games at Stade L.P. Gaucher in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada.

A centre, Poulin played 13 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals. In his post-playing career, Poulin has coached college hockey and has been an analyst on NHL television broadcasts.

Les Canadiennes de Montréal were a professional women's ice hockey team based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Founded in 2007 as the Montreal Stars, they competed in the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) in every season. The team appeared in and won the Clarkson Cup the most times out of any CWHL teams with four championships.
Catherine Ward is a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team. She was also a member of the 2008–09 McGill Martlets women's hockey season, which won a Canadian Interuniversity Sport title. She was drafted 7th overall by the Montreal Stars in the 2011 CWHL Draft.
Joseph Gérard Daniel Poulin was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played three games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Minnesota North Stars during the 1981–82 season The rest of his career, which lasted from 1977 to 1990, was spent in the minor leagues and then in the Swiss Nationalliga A. After his playing career Poulin worked as a coach in Switzerland for several years, primarily with HC Moutier.
George Vincent "Skinner" Poulin was a professional ice hockey player who played for the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey Association and the Victoria Aristocrats in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association. He was part of the original Montreal Canadiens team in the 1909–10 season and played in the team's first game on January 5, 1910.

The Hockey collégial féminin RSEQ is an amateur women's ice hockey league in Quebec, Canada. The former name of the League was Ligue de hockey féminin collégial AA. In autumn 2011, the names of different Leagues by letters AA and A within the Quebec Student Sports Federation are changed. The Hockey collégial féminin RSEQ is considered to be the highest level of young women's ice hockey in the Quebec collegiate system. The league has a wide range of talent from pre-university programs and is sanctioned by Hockey Quebec and the Quebec Student Sports Federation.

He was drafted 21st overall by the Penguins in the first round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
