Charlie Miles (born 14 August 2001) is a cricketer who plays for the Jersey women's cricket team.
Miles made her debut for Jersey at the 2022 France Women's T20I Quadrangular Series on 5 May 2022 in a player-of-the-match performance against the host nation, making an unbeaten 39 off 32 balls including five boundaries opening the batting as the islanders' successfully chased 88 in 12.3 overs. She compiled her first WT20I half-century with a score of 57 off 59 balls against Austria in Jersey's third match of the event as she again won player of the match in a 70-run victory. [4] [5]
In the tournament final against France she hit 33 off 39 balls, anchoring the innings as Jersey successfully chased 126 inside 17 overs to clinch the trophy. [6] [7]
Miles made her first home international appearances in the three-match 2022 Women's Inter-Insular Cup against neighbours Guernsey at Grainville Cricket Ground, scoring an unbeaten 78 in the third game although the match was not an official WT20I. [8] [9] [10]
She was part of the squad which represented the island in the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier, making 22 not out off 21 balls in the opening match win against Italy [11] [12] and then top scoring with 23 in a nine-wicket success over Turkey. [13] [14] [15]
Fresh off being a member of Jersey's touring party to Northern Ireland in June 2024 for fixtures against Ireland Women’s U19 Academy and NCU Knights, [16] Miles top-scored with 68 off 42 balls, including nine boundaries, as the islanders' retained the WT20I Inter-insular Cup for a third year in row, defeating Guernsey in a one-off match at Grainville Cricket Ground in St Saviour on 15 July by 104-runs. In August 2024, Miles was among the British and Irish Roses squad selected to take on Team Europe in the inaugural Meltl Shield, a nine-match T10 competition, held at Roma Cricket Ground in Rome, Italy. [20] [21]
Miles attended Jersey College for Girls. [22] In 2017 she was awarded an Arkwright Scholarship after impressing the judges at the University of Bath with her design for a buggy to mark the boundaries on cricket fields. [22]
The Jersey men's cricket team is the team that represents the Bailiwick of Jersey, a Crown dependency, in international cricket. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2005, and an associate member in 2007.
Inter-Insular cricket refers to cricket contests between representative teams of Jersey and Guernsey in the Channel Islands. An inter-insular match has been played annually between the two sides since 1950 and often attracts crowds above 1,000. It is often referred as ‘reds vs greens’ contest. The format has varied over the years but has been played as a 50-over contest in recent times and a Women’s Inter-Insular match was first played in 2009. In 2018, the format switched to a series of Twenty20 matches, although the traditional 50-over match returned from 2019 in addition to the Twenty20 series. The Twenty20 matches have had men's Twenty20 International (T20I) status since 2019, as the International Cricket Council granted T20I status to all of its members from the start of the year. On 31 May 2019, there was also a one-off women's Twenty20 International fixture between the two women's teams. It was the first T20I match for both the teams.
Benjamin David Hodfinger Stevens is a retired Jersey international cricketer. In 2014 he played in the 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Four. He was a member of the Jersey squad for the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament.

Guernsey cricket team hosted Jersey cricket team from 31 May to 1 June 2019 to contest the 2019 T20 Inter-Insular Cup, consisted of three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The series took place at two grounds in Guernsey: College Field in Saint Peter Port and King George V Sports Ground in Castel. The two sides had played an Inter-Insular match annually since 1950, generally as 50-over contests. A Twenty20 series was played for the first time in 2018, with Jersey winning the inaugural series 3–0.

The 2021 Inter-Insular Women's T20 Series was scheduled to be played in July 2021 and would have seen Guernsey women's cricket team tour Jersey for three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. The series was to be played at Farmers' Field in Saint Martin. The traditional annual 50-over Inter-insular match between the men's teams of Jersey and Guernsey was scheduled to follow in August 2021, if conditions had allowed. Guernsey won the single WT20I when the sides last met during the 2019 T20 Inter-Insular Cup.
The 2022 Women's T20I Inter-Insular Series, consisting of two Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches, took place in Jersey in June 2022. The series was originally scheduled to consist of three WT20I matches, but the third match was later changed to an unofficial contest. The venue for the matches was the Grainville Cricket Ground in St Saviour. The women's inter-insular competition was last contested in 2019, when Guernsey won a single WT20I match. The series followed the 2022 Men's T20I Inter-Insular Series which took place in Guernsey in May 2022. Jersey Women won all three matches in the series.

The men's series consisted of three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches and was held in Guernsey in June 2024. The first two matches were played at King George V Sports Ground in Castel, and the final game was played at the Guernsey Rovers Athletic Club Ground in Port Soif. The women's series consisted of a single women's T20I, which has held at the Grainville Cricket Ground in Jersey.
