Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo were a DJ duo from the Netherlands. They are best known for their successful happy hardcore songs, but have also produced gabber & eurodance records.
Charly Lownoise was born as Ramon Roelofs on June 16, 1968 in The Hague in South Holland and was later member of Starsplash. Mental Theo was born Theo Nabuurs on February 14, 1965 in 's-Hertogenbosch, North Brabant. Their more popular tracks include "Wonderfull Days" (which samples Help Get Me Some Help by Tony Ronald), "Stars" and "Live At London". The song "Revolution" is played after AZ scores a goal at home. They played their final show together on Saturday July 30, 2022 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

Dave Angel is an English techno musician. Angel was born in Chelsea, London, England. He is the son of a London-based jazz musician, and the elder brother of rapper Monie Love. He had an unorthodox musical education; his father influenced him deeply, as did his friends and his environment, including the radio. He listened not only to Miles Davis and Charlie Parker, but also to soul music and funk. Even though he was playing instruments at 14 years old, including percussion, his musical development was not easy or straightforward.
Thunderdome is a concept in hardcore techno and gabber music that was mainly used for a series of parties and CD albums. It was organized by the Dutch entertainment company ID&T. The first party was organized in 1992 and the party held in December 2012 was advertised as being the end of Thunderdome. The party was brought back in 2017 for the 25th anniversary with a 2019 edition announced the following year. In 2022, Thunderdome celebrated its 30th anniversary at the Jaarbeurs convention centre, Utrecht.

Urban Hype were an English breakbeat hardcore group. The group was formed in 1988, consisting of Bob Dibden and Mark Lewis. They are best known for their toytown techno single, "A Trip to Trumpton", which peaked at No. 6 in the UK Singles Chart in July 1992. They had two other minor UK chart entries, and briefly saw their second album Conspiracy to Dance released in the United States through Radikal Records.

The Brotherhood were a pioneering UK hip-hop group with a solid following across the UK from the early 1990s. Releases with seminal UK Hip Hop label Bite It! Recordings were followed by a later move to Virgin. The 1996 album Elementalz has been described as one of the best UK hip hop albums ever made and "a staggering achievement in British music". "Fairytales" is a song by Dutch Eurodance group 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor featuring rapper D-Rock and singer Des'Ray. It was released in 1996 by Lowland Records and CNR Music as the third single from the group's second album, 2 (1996). In their native Netherlands, the song peaked at number four, while entering the top 50 in Belgium (46) and Sweden (49). On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Fairytales" peaked at number 85 in March 1996. Outside Europe, it was a number one hit for one week in Israel. A computer generated music video was produced to promote the single, directed by Ben Liebrand.
