Chen Jianqiang (born 1 June 1957) is a Chinese speed skater. He competed in two events at the 1984 Winter Olympics. [1]

The People's Republic of China competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States. It was the first appearance at the Summer Games for PRC after its symbolic presence at the Summer Games in 1952 during which the dispute between ROC and PRC had started over the name of China and resulted in withdrawing all its athletes by ROC. Since then until these Games the communist PRC boycotted the games due to the Taiwan's presence as the Republic of China. In 1984, the Republic of China competed as Chinese Taipei and the PRC competed as China.
The People's Republic of China competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. 273 competitors, 149 men and 124 women, took part in 150 events in 25 sports.. Notably, this was China's first Olympic Games in a country which did not have diplomatic relations with China.
Chen Yibing is a Chinese gymnast, a four-time world champion on still rings. Chen was part of the Chinese team that won the gold medal in the team event at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011 and the Asian Games in 2006 and 2010. Since his international debut at the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, he was almost unbeatable on his specialist event, still rings, except to his teammate Yan Mingyong in 2009 and the Brazilian Arthur Nabarrete Zanetti at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He became the 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011 world champions on still rings.
Chen Qi is a retired male Chinese table tennis player. He won the gold medal in men's doubles at the 2004 Summer Olympics with Ma Lin, and is the youngest male ever to hold this title at age 20. In December 2013, Chen Qi announced his retirement and became the head coach of the Jiangsu provincial table tennis team.
