JTEKT Stings is a men's volleyball team based in the city of Kariya, Japan. It competes in the V.League, the highest volleyball league in Japan. The club was founded in 1958 and the current owner of the club is JTEKT.
Luiz Felipe Marques Fonteles is a Brazilian volleyball player, member of the Brazil men's national volleyball team in 2005–2016 and currently plays for Japanese team, JTEKT Stings, on club level. He is the 2016 Olympic Champion, silver medallist of the 2014 World Championship, two–time South American Champion and gold medallist of the 2011 Pan American Games.
Ricardo Samuel Lucarelli Santos de Souza is a Brazilian professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for JTEKT Stings and the Brazil national team. He was a gold medallist in the men's tournament at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and the 2019 World Cup winner.
Yamato Fushimi is a Japanese volleyball player. He used to play for Japan men's national volleyball team and currently plays for Wolf Dogs Nagoya in V.League Division 1.
Valentin Bratoev is a Bulgarian volleyball player a member of Bulgaria men's national volleyball team and Bulgarian volleyball club Deya Burgas. Bratoev won bronze medals with the national team in the 2009 Men's European Volleyball Championship and won 2010–11 CEV Champions League with Trentino. His twin brother Georgi Bratoev also plays volleyball for Bulgaria.
Torey James DeFalco is an American professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for JTEKT Stings and the U.S. national team. DeFalco took part in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
Masahiro Yanagida is a Japanese male volleyball player. He is a member of the Japan men's national volleyball team, playing Outside Hitter. At the club level he plays for the Tokyo Great Bears. Yanagida captained the senior national team from 2018 to 2021.
Hiroaki Asano is a retired Japanese male volleyball player. He used to be a part of the Japan men's national volleyball team. On club level, he only played for JTEKT Stings since 2012. On 9 April 2021, the club announced that he would retire after the 69th Kurowashiki All Japan Volleyball Tournament, but it was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Kenya Fujinaka is a Japanese male volleyball player. He is part of the Japan men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Suntory Sunbirds. He used to play for Senshu University. He started volleyball at the age of seven under the influence of his parents. He used to attend Ube Commercial High School.
Rao Shuhan is a Chinese male volleyball player. He is part of the China men's national volleyball team. On club level, he used to play for JTEKT Stings in Japanese highest league, V.League Division 1.
Shinji Takahashi is a retired Japanese male volleyball player and was part of the Japan men's national volleyball team. He started to be the head coach for JTEKT Stings in V.League Division 1 since 2018–19 season until 2020–21 season. He led the team won the first V.League 1 title of the club's history in 2020 and the Emperor's Cup title in 2021. Currently, he is being a management staff of the team.
The FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship is an international women's club volleyball competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1991 in Brazil. It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.
Yuji Nishida is a Japanese left-handed volleyball player. As of July 2024, Nishida plays for Panasonic Panthers at club level.
Masahiro Sekita is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Tokyo. He currently plays in V.League Division 1 for JTEKT Stings and Japan men's national volleyball team. He used to be the captain of Japan U-21 national team in 2012 Asian Junior Men's Volleyball Championship and 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship.
Kento Miyaura is a Japanese male volleyball player from Kumamoto City, on the island of Kyushu. Currently, he plays in LNV Ligue A Masculine for Paris Volley. He used to be the captain of Japan U-19 team and Waseda University's club.
Taichi Fukuyama is a Japanese volleyball player. He currently plays for Japan national team and JTEKT Stings in V.League Division 1. He was the captain of the Waseda University volleyball club and the Japanese national team at the 2017 Eastern Asian Men's Volleyball Championship.
Ryuta Homma is a Japanese male Volleyball player. On club level, he captained JTEKT Stings team, in V.League Division 1, since 2019–20 season. He is a former member of the Japan men's national volleyball team.
Tsubasa Hisahara is a male Japanese former Volleyball player who played for Panasonic Panthers in V.League Division 1. He used to be the captain of Japanese youth national team and was a part of Japan men's national volleyball team.
The Volleyball 2019–20 V.League Division 1 Men's was the 26th tournament of the V.League and the highest level men's tournament in Japan, which was held from October 26, 2019 – February 29, 2020.
