Cheneta Jones (born February 8, 1985) is an American urban contemporary gospel artist and musician. She started her music career, in 2012, with the release of the studio album, Transformed, by Habakkuk Music, and this charted on two Billboard charts Top Gospel Albums and the Heatseekers Albums chart.

Early life

Jones was born on February 8, 1985, [1] as Cheneta Jones in St. Louis, Missouri. [2] [3] She started into music, when she was sixteen years old as a background vocalist for Tye Tribbett. [4] [3] Jones was at one time in an R&B group, yet she left to further her ministry in the church, becoming an urban contemporary gospel artist. [2]

Music career

Her music recording career commenced in 2012, when she released, a studio album, with Habakkuk Music, Transformed, [5] [6] on May 22, 2012. [7] This earned her a Stellar Award nomination, for Best New Artist. [2] The album was her breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine charts, where it placed at No. 13 on the Top Gospel Albums and at No. 17 on the Heatseekers Albums. [8] Her song, "Get There", charted at No. 29 on the Gospel Songs chart. [8] [9] She now has a single out, "It's You (A Love Song)," featuring fellow gospel singer Zacardi Cortez. [2]

Sunny Michaela Sweeney is an American country music artist. She is signed to the Thirty Tigers label. She was formerly with the Republic Nashville label and Big Machine Records. Her debut album, Heartbreaker's Hall of Fame, was independently issued in 2006 and then regionally released in 2007. American singer-songwriter Nichole Nordeman has released five studio albums, one live album, four compilation albums, one extended play, one soundtrack album, 18 singles, and three music videos. In 1998, after winning a contest sponsored by the Gospel Music Association, Nordeman was signed to Star Song Communications and Sparrow Records and began to work on her debut studio album, Wide Eyed. The album was released in September 1998 and entered the Billboard Christian Albums and Billboard Heatseekers Albums charts at number 16 and 29, respectively, both of which marked her chart debut. Wide Eyed spawned four singles, "To Know You," "Who You Are," "I Wish the Same", and "Wide Eyed", and has sold 130,000 copies in the United States. Meghan Linsey is an American singer-songwriter. A Ponchatoula, Louisiana native, Linsey started her musical career by forming Steel Magnolia with her boyfriend of three years, Joshua Scott Jones. Before trying out for Can You Duet, Linsey was a karaoke host at a Nashville karaoke bar, called Lonnie's Western Room, which is where she met Jones. After becoming the top winner on the show, the duo signed a recording contract with Big Machine Records, and released its debut single "Keep On Lovin' You" in August 2009, which was a Top 10 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. In March 2014, Linsey and Jones split and decided to pursue solo careers.

Emily Ann Roberts is an American country singer. She was a contestant on NBC's The Voice, as a member of team Blake Shelton, and she became a finalist on season nine. Songs she performed on the show charted on the Billboard magazine charts, where three songs were on the Hot Country Songs and one placed on the Hot Christian Songs chart. After the show, she finished school before focusing on her music career. In 2018 she released her first single "Stuck on Me and You," which charted in the top 40 on iTunes. On May 14, 2019 Emily Ann returned to The Voice stage to perform her newest single "Someday Dream". As of June 2019 she is signed to Starstruck Records. A full album is to be released sometime in 2019.
