Cherry Blossom Love Affair is the fifth studio album from the Malaysian rock band Pop Shuvit, released in 2011 by their own record label, Shuvit Management. [2] This was their last studio album before hiatus. [3]

Pop Shuvit Malaysian rap rock band

Pop Shuvit is a Malaysian independent hip hop-rap rock band. Comprising Moots! (MC), JD, AJ, Rudy (drums) and DJ Uno (DJ), the band who got its name from a skateboarding trick of almost the same name began making waves in the local music scene in late 2001 and since then, has had 5 successful releases under their belt and gained a sizeable fanbase in Asia notably in Malaysia, Japan, Thailand and Singapore. Known for their adrenaline-packed live shows and eclectic blend of hip hop and rock, Pop Shuvit are being touted as Asia's leading Hip Hop Rock band.

The album title, which reads ‘CHERRY BLOSSOM LOVE AFFAIR’ in capital letters, in which the word "Cherry" and "Love Affair" in white color, while the word "Blossom" in red color. The album title was present in the cover, however, the Pop Shuvit name was not present.

Pop Evil

Pop Evil is an American rock band that was formed in North Muskegon, Michigan in 2001 by Leigh Kakaty. He then added Dave Grahs, Dylan Allison, and Jamie Nummer. Later, guitarist Tony Greve was added as a temporary studio musician for the band but was invited to become a full-time member in early 2007. Around that time, bassist Jamie Nummer left the band for personal reasons and was replaced by Matt DiRito, formerly of Archangel and Before the Fire. In 2011 Allison had major neck surgery and Chachi Riot filled in. In 2012 Riot became a mainstay as Pop Evil's drummer. In 2012 due to personal reasons, Greve quit the band on his own accord and Nick Fuelling stepped up to fill his shoes.

Malaysian underground music and idealism is popular locally and overseas. Malaysian youth are typically into the punk culture. This reflect in the music that they write (band/musician). Most of the Malaysian rock music scene started in Terengganu which has a thriving punk/hardcore scene.

Hey Monday American band

Hey Monday is an American rock band from West Palm Beach, Florida, formed in 2008. The band is on a hiatus as of December 2011. They released their debut album Hold On Tight in 2008, which produced the singles "Homecoming" and "How You Love Me Now." The album was followed up with their 2010 EP Beneath It All, which achieved moderate commercial success, and Candles EP in 2011. Their final release, The Christmas EP, was released on December 6, 2011. Hey Monday is on hiatus and claims to not be "broken up". The lead singer Cassadee Pope is now a solo artist.

Yunalis binti Mat Zara'ai, professionally known as Yuna, is a Malaysian singer-songwriter. Yuna's initial exposure came through the viral success of her music uploaded to Myspace, which received over one million plays. This online success alerted the Indie-Pop label/management company to her music, and in early 2011 she signed with the Fader Label. She is best known for the collaboration with Usher on her breakout single, "Crush" which peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard Adult R&B chart.

High4 was a South Korean boy band under the management of N.A.P Entertainment. The group consisted of members Alex, Myunghan, and Youngjun. They officially debuted into the Korean entertainment industry on April 8, 2014 with the song "Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms" featuring IU. On January 31, 2017, it was announced that leader Sunggu would be leaving the group.

The album containing four songs previously included in their third album, Amped & Dangerous (2006) as well as new material and featuring collaborations with several artists. The album also is the band’s first album to have Malay-languaged songs. The song, "Marabahaya" used as the soundtrack of the Malaysian movie, Impak Maksima.
