James Lorimer is a South African politician,a Member of Parliament for the Democratic Alliance,and the Shadow Minister of Environmental Affairs,Forestry and Fisheries. Previously he has served as a deputy spokesperson on Parliament's defence and basic education committees,and as Shadow Minister on Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs as well as Mineral Affairs. She was Shadow Deputy Minister of Agriculture,Forestry and Fisheries and Shadow Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration. A member of the Democratic Alliance,she was elected to Parliament in May 2019. As of April 2023,she is the Shadow Deputy Minister of Forestry,Fisheries and the Environment. Weber served as the chairperson of the DA's caucus in the Nkangala District Municipality between 2015 and 2019.

Bryant was a proportional representation councillor of the City of Cape Town between 2009 and 2011,and then served as the ward councillor for ward 77 from 2011 to 2016. Bryant was the ward councillor for ward 115 from 2016 to 2020.
