It stars Dino Morea, Jimmy Sheirgill, Anuj Sawhney, Celina Jaitly, Kim Sharma, Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor. It had music by Himesh Reshammiya who made a special appearance in the film. The screenplay is actually a mixture of two different plots taken from two different films with similar titles: the 1941 American classic Tom, Dick and Harry and the 1993 Hong Kong hit Tom, Dick and Hairy.

Hum (transl. We) is a 1991 Indian Hindi-language action crime film directed by Mukul S. Anand. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Govinda, Kimi Katkar, Deepa Sahi, Shilpa Shirodkar, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher and Kader Khan. At the 37th Filmfare Awards, the film received 7 nominations and won 4 awards including Best Actor for Bachchan and Best Choreographer for Chinni Prakash for the song "Jumma Chumma De De". The film was the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of 1991 at the box office. The film was an inspiration for the cult hit Tamil film Baashha (1995).
Pandit Bajinath Prasad also known as Pandit Lachhu Maharaj (1901–1978) was an Indian classical dancer and choreographer of Kathak dance. He came from a family of illustrious Kathak exponents in Lucknow, and also worked as film choreographer, Hindi cinema, most notably Mughal-e-Azam (1960) and Pakeezah (1972). He was awarded the 1957 Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, the highest award for performing artists, conferred by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama. He was paternal uncle of Pandit Birju Maharaj.

Kishen Kanhaiya is a 1990 Indian Hindi action comedy film directed by Rakesh Roshan, released in 1990. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shirodkar and Madhuri Dixit. In this movie, Shilpa Shirodkar had a controversial transparent wet saree scene similar to Mandakini's scene in Ram Teri Ganga Maili and her career suffered because of this role. This film was inspired by the 1968 film Ram Aur Shyam, which had also inspired Seeta Aur Geeta and ChaalBaaz. Before Anil Kapoor, the role was offered to Amitabh Bachchan, but he rejected it for unknown reasons. The film turned out to be a hit at the box office.

Deepak Tijori is an Indian film director and actor who works in Bollywood and Gujarati films and is well known for his supporting roles in Aashiqui (1990), Khiladi (1992), Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992), Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994), Ghulam (1998) and Baadshah (1999). He also starred as a lead actor in Pehla Nasha (1993). Tijori started his directing career with Oops! (2003), a film about male strippers. This was followed by Fareb (2005), Khamoshh... Khauff Ki Raat (2005), Tom, Dick, and Harry (2006) and Fox (2009). Thriller at 10 – Fareb, a TV mini-series produced by Tijori won the 2001 Indian Television Academy Awards in the category best mini-series. His recent directorial, Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, was released in the year 2016.

Oops! is a 2003 Indian erotic comedy drama film directed and produced by Deepak Tijori. It was his directorial debut. Based on the topic of male strippers, the film faced protests before screening. The film was produced on a budget of ₹25 million (US$310,000). It was considered controversial because of the subject matter and initially it faced troubles with the Central Board of Film Certification. The film was released in two versions – Hindi and English. It did not receive favourable reviews. The film failed at the box office, and Tijori said that he had "alienated the audience with too much sex in the promos".
Guns of Banaras is an Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Sekhar Suri. It is a remake of the 2007 Tamil film Polladhavan. The film stars Karan Nath and Nathalia Kaur in leading roles and Zarina Wahab, Vinod Khanna, Shilpa Shirodkar, Abhimanyu Singh and Tej Sapru in supporting roles.
