Chicken is L.A. rock band Ednaswap's first and only EP. It was recorded after the band left Eastwest Records and was signed to Island Records, and came out a year before their full-length Island debut, Wacko Magneto .

Ednaswap was an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, that existed between 1993 and 1998. Over a span of five years, the band released four major label records on East West, Elektra Records and Island Records.
Annetenna was a short-lived band that emerged from the ashes of Ednaswap. On formation, the band were immediately signed by Columbia Records and recorded a self-titled album, which was then shelved by the record label. Founding members Anne Preven and Scott Cutler continue to write and produce songs for other artists, but the Annetenna project seems to have been put to rest.

As a member of the alternative rock band Ednaswap, she wrote "Torn" which was covered by Lis Sørensen (Danish), Trine Rein (Norwegian), and then Natalie Imbruglia (Australian) whose version became a worldwide number one airplay song, spending 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay Chart in the US. "Torn" has sold an estimated four million copies, it is certified platinum in three countries, and was declared the "number one radio single of the 1990s" by radio personality Rick Dees. As a songwriter, Preven has collaborated with some of the music industry's top artists including Madonna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Sinéad O'Connor, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Jordin Sparks, Zac Brown Band, Pnau, Andy Grammer, Lea Michele, Pixie Lott, and Westlife.

Jordis Losana Sikahema Unga is an American rock singer, songwriter and performer from Forest Lake, Minnesota. After years of building a cult following in Minneapolis, as a vocalist for The Fighting Tongs and Liars Club, Unga reached international fame for her performances on the first season of the CBS television reality show Rock Star: INXS where 15 contestants competed to become the lead vocalist for the Australian rock band INXS. She finished fifth overall. Unga was also a contestant on the second season of NBC's The Voice as a part of "Team Blake". She was eliminated on April 16, 2012. In 2014, Unga released her debut album, A Letter from Home.

Philip Thornalley is an English songwriter-producer who has worked in the music industry since 1978. He is perhaps best known for co-writing the song "Torn" and the number one hits "Mama Do" and "Boys and Girls" for Pixie Lott. He also produced The Cure's 1982 album Pornography and was later their bass player for eighteen months, producing and performing the distinctive double bass line on their 1983 single "The Love Cats". In 1988, Thornalley released his only solo album Swamp and joined the band Johnny Hates Jazz as their lead singer, replacing co-founder Clark Datchler, remaining in the lineup until their disbandment in 1992.

Fino + Bleed is a studio album by the Canadian punk rock band Die Mannequin, released on September 8, 2009. Fino + Bleed is Die Mannequin's first true studio album because their previously released studio album Unicorn Steak is a compilation of their first two EPs, How To Kill and Slaughter Daughter. There is also a deluxe CD/DVD version of the album with the DVD containing the Bruce McDonald directed The Raw Side of…Die Mannequin. The original release date was set for August 25, 2009 but was pushed back to September 8, 2009 in order to accommodate the addition of the documentary.
