Child Bite is an American punk/metal band [1] formed in 2005 in Detroit, Michigan. The band's core members are founding vocalist Shawn Knight [2] [3] and longtime bassist Sean Clancy. [4] Child Bite's sound has been described as "enormous and predatory, from the baleful rhythm section to Shawn Knight's [frightening vocals]." [5] [6] [7]

In the spring of 2013, the band released a split 7-inch with David Yow of Jesus Lizard and Scratch Acid. [8] Morbid Hits, a collection of Anal Cunt cover songs, was released exclusively as a 5-inch vinyl record in early 2014 via Housecore Records. This release featured the band being fronted by Pantera/Down frontman Phil Anselmo. [9] [10]

As of 2024, Child Bite has toured the U.S. with such acts as Pantera, [11] Lamb of God, [12] Down, [13] Voivod, [14] Negative Approach, [15] Superjoint, [16] Poison Idea, [17] Unsane [18] and more.

Cowboys from Hell is the fifth studio album and major label debut by American heavy metal band Pantera, released on July 24, 1990, by Atco Records. It marked the first of many collaborations with producer Terry Date. This was also the album where Pantera fully abandoned the glam metal style of their previous albums in favor of a heavier sound. It has been recognized as one of the first ever groove metal albums.

Use Once and Destroy is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Superjoint Ritual, released on May 21, 2002. The guitar and bass work was done by Phil Anselmo and Eyehategod's Jimmy Bower. Drumming was performed by Joe Fazzio. For touring bass duties, the band recruited Hank Williams III. Anselmo did not want to play bass live because he wanted to focus mainly on singing.

Nearly every song begins with a count-in by vocalist Phil Anselmo. "Waiting for the Turning Point" and "Stealing a Page or Two From Armed & Radical Pagans" are finished versions of the two bonus demos released on their first album, Use Once and Destroy. A Lethal Dose of American Hatred was the band's last full-length studio album before disbanding in December 2004. After reforming in October 2014, the album was followed by Caught Up in the Gears of Application in 2016.

Arson Anthem was an American hardcore punk band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2006. The lineup comprised singer Mike Williams of Eyehategod, guitarist Phil Anselmo, country musician, punk rocker and Assjack frontman Hank Williams III on drums, and bassist Collin Yeo.
