Children's Park [1] [2] is a 2019 Indian Malayalam [3] comedy film. It was directed by Shafi [4] and written by Rafi. The film stars Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Manasa Radhakrishnan, Sharafudheen, Dhruvan, Sowmya Menon, and Gayathri Suresh. [5] It was produced by Roopesh Omana and Milan Jaleel under Cochin Films.
Rishi and Jerry are good friends who trust each other immensely and decide to run away from their respective homes. Eventually, Rishi's father dies, and the desire to inherit his father's wealth starts to develop in his mind. Unfortunately, Rishi does not get any of the wealth, as his father signs everything away to an orphanage named "Children's Park." An older man, Govindan, owned the orphanage. Rishi, longing for his father's wealth, decides to travel towards the orphanage with his best friend, Jerry. To their surprise, they discover that the orphanage is non-functional. To get the money, the orphanage has to be functioning well, so they contact Lenin, a political party worker, and befriend him. The three of them together rescue kidnapped children on the road by disguising themselves as the police. As the three friends don't have any money to buy things for the orphans, they plot to cheat and win money from a political leader named Kora. One night, Viji, a maiden, comes and leaves her baby in front of the orphanage's gate only to discover that the next evening she would have to go back to the orphanage to work as a nanny. As time passes, the events start to heat up among the characters, and the story becomes entertaining, tragic, and comedic. [6] [7]
Kandukondain Kandukondain is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed and co-written by Rajiv Menon. Based on Jane Austen's 1811 novel Sense and Sensibility, it features an ensemble cast of Mammootty, Ajith Kumar, Tabu, Aishwarya Rai and Abbas. Veterans Manivannan, Srividya and Raghuvaran play supporting roles. The film's soundtrack was scored by A. R. Rahman and the cinematographer was Ravi K. Chandran.
Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Parameswaran Sukumaran Nair, known mononymously as Sukumaran, was an Indian actor and producer of Malayalam films. Sukumaran became a popular film star in Malayalam cinema during the 1970s. Ee Parakkum Thalika is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language slapstick comedy drama film starring Dileep, Harisree Asokan, Nithya Das and Cochin Haneefa. It was directed by Thaha and written by V. R. Gopalakrishnan, seems to have been inspired by Mouse Hunt. The film was also the debut film of actress Nithya Das. The story follows bus owner Unnikrishnan and his assistant Sundareshan who live and sleep in their bus. It is considered one of the best slapstick comedy movies in Malayalam cinema and was one of the highest grossing Malayalam movie in 2001. The bus known as Thamarakshan Pilla, which is a central figure in the movie eventually developed into a cult figure in Kerala.
Janardhanan Nair is an Indian actor, producer and a former Indian Airforce personnel who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. He acted in his first feature film Adyathe Kadha, directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan in 1971, he acted in more than 700 films. He started his career when Malayalam films were made in black and white. He is known for his style of handling humour and his iconic voice. He started his career playing brusque villains and sub hero roles in the 1970s and early 1980s, acting along with Prem Nazir and Jayan, but later established himself as a highly sought-after comedian.
